| Chuck Palahniuk [Fight Club, Choke, etc] He wrote Fight Club, Survivor, Choke, Snuff, Stranger Than Fiction, Invisable Monsters and more... I really like his books. | Oh yeah I read Survivor a year ago. I enjoyed reading it.  It's an interesting satire on the media and popular culture. Odd and yet believable considering how much importance society places on celebrities and their lives. I want to read Snuff? | I read snuff recently, I really liked it. It had interesting commentary about the porn industry, feminism, and beauty. and what we do to achieve it. I like how his books have a sort of hidden social or political commentary in them all. | I love his books! | Passionate Fan   | I've never really been able to get into Palahniuk. I just don't like his writing style. I liked the Fight Club movie though. | At first it was hard for me to actually get into the books; but once i read them more and read the others i liked his writing. Choke should be good; movie wise I mean. | I have yet to read anything by him, but have been planning to get on that. I'll probably read one of his books (most likely Choke, since my boyfriend has it) before the end of the year. I just hope that all the hype doesn't ruin his book(s) for me. __________________ + Eda + | |||
