I'm not too much into nonfiction, but I'd try it out if it's Chuck. How are his other fiction books?

Sorry to double post, but I just got done with Diary. I didn't really know what to expect from it, and I wasn't sure if I was going to end up liking it as I was reading it, to be honest. At first, I thought it was a bit all over the place, but about halfway through the book, everything kinda fell into place, and I got hooked. I really liked it! It was crazy, sardonic Chuck as usual, but there was a bittersweetness to it, too. I really felt for Misty.

After skimming through this thread, it seems that most people liked Lullaby and Snuff?? Haunted sounds really interesting, too. These are going on my must-read list.

I thought Snuff was interesting, but the end was kind of.. meh. Haven't read Lullaby yet.

The new book sounds interesting.

Invisible Monsters has got to be my favorite Chuck book by far. I just love the entire story. Theres just so many messed up twists in it.

I should definitely get around to finishing "Haunted." The gory details were so good I couldn't swallow it all by just reading.

is Diary good? The detials don't sound that great.

I'm so close to finishing Survivor. It has to be in the top for me along with Invisable Monsters.

I've read Invisible Monsters and Choke so far.

Any suggestions on which one I should read next?

And I've been meaning to read Fight Club and have yet to watch it (sad, I know.)
Should I read the book or watch the movie first?

It's one of my favorite books, too. Glad you liked it.

I liked Diary, but not as much as I liked Invisible Monsters or Choke. I didn't know what Diary was all about before reading it either. I just saw it at the library and was like, "Oh, a Chuck book," and checked it out on a whim. It was pretty good though. It was a bit all over the place in the beginning, but I really got into it about midway through the book. You should read it.

I've only read Invisible Monsters, Choke, and Diary so far. I'm starting to read Lullaby at the moment. I've never read Fight Club, but I've watched the movie. I think you should read the book first. Books are almost always better than their movie adaptations.

Thanks for the recs, I'll start looking them up.

Anyways, I've asked around and some say the movie is different from the book--but in a good way. I'm just a little hesitant on reading first because the movies are always missing some parts, you know? And I don't want to ruin a good movie so...eh I don't know.
