I finished Biting Cold. I thought the middle dragged a bit, but overall I did like it.
Loved the amount of Ethan and Ethan/Merit of course. I was a bit disappointed with how the Mallory storyline turned out. __________________

No, it wasn't that. Everything was okay for her, but I was just expecting a more intense showdown. Instead, everything felt convenient.

Kind of bored so I'm going through my e books looking at the quotes and any notes I wrote on the previous books and stumble on something. In Biting Cold Merit on multiple occasions says Ethan is a 400 year old vampire. But in Twice Bitten she says he's 394.

I'm assuming it was just an approximation. It's smoother for Merit to think of him as 400 when she's thinking to herself, as opposed to 394 all the time?
