I've never read these. Was it a spinoff of GG?

I grew to like Easy and Callie when I read it. I remember liking Sebastian and Brett and Tinsly/Heath were good too. Yeah it was a spin off of Jenny Humphrey in the books she went to boarding school.

I've combined all the GG books into one thread, and I'll rename it so that all works from Cecily can be discussed and be an author thread.

I read the first two books in the GG series after I watched 2 seasons of the show. It was kinda sad to see how much the show changed the characters. Serena and Blair were pretty much kept the same. Maybe even Nate in some sense. But Chuck and Dan were different. Even Jenny. She was more likable in the books. In the show they made her really unappealing to the audience.

Def agree w/ you on that.. Plus I tho that they would keep the same characters from the books, but nope.. So sad..

Oh yeah you're right. Some characters that showed up in the books never showed up on the show. This is exactly why I'm always more hesitant to a book becoming a tv show rather than a movie. I feel like with movies there's more of a chance that less will be changed.

I watched s1 first and then read the first few books, but couldn't get into them after that. A lot probably because at the time I loved Chuck and didn't like him/was kind of disappointed in the books. Reason why I usually don't go and read a book series after I've seen the tv show.
