Any other fans of this incredible Katherine Paterson novel?

I absolutely this book! When I read it---now over ten years ago, it became an instant favorite. Terabithia was so magical and serene and the story was just so heart-warming.

Bridge of Terabithia is one of my favorite books that I read in my childhood. I think one of these days I am going to read it again.

I love it..
on the first day of year 7, our English teacher made us pair up with someone we didn't know (easy for me as I was new) and get to know each other; my partner said her favourite books were Thunderwith and Bridge to Terabithia. I'd never read either, so I went and got both from the library that day, and fell in love with both. I now own both and would list them amongst my favourites too, all these years later

I love this book too. I still have a copy of it somewhere. I remember it being one of the first chapter books to ever make me cry. Heh.

I adore this book. I have a copy somewhere, too, which reminds me that I haven't read it in a long time. It's funny because the first time I tried to read it, I thought it was really boring and never finished it until years later when I came to love it. It makes me so sad, but I love the ending.

I wish I could find my old copy of the book, who knows where it is.

I love this book. I almost cried at the end. I have two copies of it. Heh. Not quite sure why I have two copies though.

Oh, I loved this book. Haven't read it in a while though. Such a sad ending.

I wonder if my library has a copy... I'll have to order it.

I read it and liked it.

I only remember now that it was a censored book, and i dont' know why. Can anyone shed light on that?

I'm not sure either. People want to censor everything these days. It probably had something to do with how it dealt with death at such an early age. I don't know, that's all I can think of. But to me, that's just facing reality. If all childrens' books were just rainbows and happy endings, everybody is going to be in for a huge shock when they finally have to deal with things like that. That's why I've always hated Disney cartoons. They totally gave me the wrong idea of life.

But I think they handled everything very sensitively in Terabithia so I really can't see what the problem was.
