Hello My name is Marie and this is my first time posting on this particular board.
I am starting a project where I am attempting to read a book from every country. I'm American and I realized that my book collection is mostly American or British, so I thought I'd try to expand my reading a bit. For now, I am defining a book from being from a country if the author is from there and I would prefer if the book also takes place at least partially in that country. I am using the list of UN member and observer nations. If anyone has any recommendations for books from outside of America that are available in English I would really appreciate it! Also, any general advice on how to best tackle this project would be really appreciated, as I'm still trying to figure out the best way to find and choose books. Thanks! |
