Its not really the sort of fantasy I usually would read, so maybe thats why I didn't know of it, not to mention I only got into YA fantasy the last year or two.

LoTR are hard to read
Tolkein over explained BUT they were great - I've read them once but haven't rereadGoT is down the line for me considering I have others to catch up on and start  Plus keep being told to read Sword of Truth which Legends of the Seeker was based onI also want to try to go back to Dune which I read in High School years ago but wouldn't mind going back to that series So I'm sure Fever/The Mortal Instruments/Vampire Academy have been mentioned  so I'll mention Outlander which I'm still slowly working on and have been for 10+ years with being 4 books in oh or Anne Rice's vampire books I want to go back too cause read those back in High School or first time in College - so 10ish years ago__________________
