Book of the month June

We had "The catcher in the rye" as book of the month February, so I restart this thread for June.
I want that everyone gets involved and so please post you proposals for the Book of the month June. I will count them together and then open a new thread, I think we take two weeks for the poll.
So lets start it!!

My proposal is Anna Karenina by Leo N. Tolstoi

The Sea by John Banville - haven't read it yet and it's on my holiday list. It won the Booker Prize for fiction last year - it can't be that bad.

My vote is for The Secret Supper by Javier Sierra. I've heard really good things about it.

I don't know what books were done in the past, but I am going to say The Five People You meet in Heaven by Mitch Albom. I'm sorry if it was already done before.

I don't think that one has been done. Actually, I'm almost certain it hasn't. I can't totally remember what was and wasn't used for the book of the month to be honest.
Since we're getting a very scattered reply then why don't we stop the suggestions now and let the remaining voters pick between:
Anna Karenina by Leo N. Tolstoi
The Sea by John Banville
The Secret Supper by Javier Sierra
The Five People You meet in Heaven by Mitch Albom

These are the titles that have been used in the past:
- Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants (Ann Brashares)
- Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister (Gregory Maguire)
- Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (JK Rowling)
- Hideaway (Dean Koontz)
- The Time Traveler's Wife (Audrey Niffenegger)
- In Her Shoes (Jennifer Weiner)
- Catcher in the Rye (JD Salinger)

I vote Mitch Albom.

NP, I say we keep the voting open for another week or two, see how many more people vote, and then I'll top the book of the month thread for June.

I'll second Anna Karenina because that'll give me the motivation to read the book this month to discuss it in June.
