| "Black Dahlia Avenger" (Steve Hodel) : are you convinced ? I've just started to read this book and I really like it, even if the pics of the girl Steve found in his father collection is, for me, NOT Elizabeth Short. ![]() I really enjoyed the James Ellroy "Black Dahlia" and, for me, the Hodel book is more a novel than an essay... But i've not finished it yet, so maybe i'll change my mind later... ![]() And you ? What do you think of this murder case and of Hodel book ? ![]() | |||

I haven't read the book but this show left me wanting to do so because I've wondered about the Black Dahlia ever since I saw a movie about the murder. 48 Hours kinda left it open-ended about whether the book's evidence was substantial enough to prove that Dr. Hodel was guilty of this murder. __________________ Not all who wander are lost. | |||

| No, unfortunatly, I haven't seen this show. But I have finished the book and Oh.My. It's the worst thing I've ever read !!! So lame, so self centered (is it a book on Beth Short or on the writter himself ?), there's no proof at all but only speculations... I'm so bored... ![]() | |||
