I don't know how Audible works. I use this Libby app that I can get audiobooks from my library.

I never tried Libby. I should see if they have access to NYC libraries.
With audible you can choose a membership (monthly or yearly) and get audiobooks at a discount + other perks or you can choose to not be a member and get audiobooks full price. __________________

I listen to audiobooks at 1x mostly. I have listened to 1.25x a few times before but felt like I was missing details. Then I tried 1.5x for fun at that was impossible to retain information.

I'm guessing different apps consider the same speed settings to be different in actual speed too.
Like 1.5 on Libby could be different than Audible's 1.5 __________________

That's true as well.. you never know. I haven't used to Audible so I don't know for sure if they are the same or not
