I think they're great if you travel a lot or if you like the electronics of the moment, but I like being able to hold a book in my hands. I like the emotional connection I have with books. I've heard great things about the Kindle though, and you can get hardbacks for cheaper than you can at the bookstore, which makes up for the price tag. __________________ Come stop by the Books Board for a visit. 148.94 million square kilometers on the face of the Earth, and I plan on walking every single one of them! | I use my Palm as an e-book reader and I like it, but I want to get a Sony, a Readius by Polymer Vision, or an eBookwise. I don't like the Kindle because PDFs don't display properly and the device was designed to read Amazon's format, so using it for my other ebooks would be a hassle (and the Kindle ebooks are somewhat pricey). | |||
