Amongst The marines by Steven Preece
Just read a fab book by Steven Preece called Amongst The Marines. I found it to be violent, hilariously funny, disgusting and at the same time quite sad. All in all randomhouse have published a great autobiography by this guy. Its so realistic I could feel the emotion in it. I hope to see more by this author cos I want to know what happened after he did walk through the gates for the last time.

This sounds like an interesting book.
You said it's an autobiography? __________________

A good book
I work at Randomhouse in Sydney and this book is doing quite well. I've read it myself and I gave it to my wife who enjoyed it too. I have heard that Preece is writing a follow up book that explains how he made the transition from being a violent serviceman back to an ordinary respectable citizen. I must say I'm looking forward to this one being released too.

Real Life!
truthfully, I thought Preece's book was direct and powerful. I honestly couldn't put it down. I hope he follows up becasue I want to know what happened when he walked through the gates for the last time!
