i have a question....would it be ok if u started reading the book..and finished it in 2008?? like u started on christmas day or after that..and finished it like the first week of january?? would that count?? or do u have start in january?? or 2008??

I was wondering about this, too.
I'm trying to decide whether to start a book I know I won't finish before January 1st and include it in next year's list, or just to read shorter books to fit onto this year's list. If that makes sense.

I have fallen in love with this thread! I'm not sure how much reading I'll be able to get done this upcoming year, because my school load is supposed to be a nightmare! But I definitely want to give it a shot. So much so I'm starting tonight!
