What does everyone think of the OP? Should I add some things? Take something away?

What's everyone's favorite book by Judith? I think my favorite is Almost Heaven. I love the storyline between Elizabeth and Ian. My next favorite is Once & Always. And for her contemporaries, I like Perfect.

I think I like her historicals a lot more than her contemporaries, but that's just me.

Hello - Tina -!

The OP is great! I love it!

My favorite book of hers is Whitney, My Love. I guess because I love her historicals, and I extremely love Paradise! The love story between Matt and Meredith moves me.

Can you add me to the supporters list? I really adore Judith McNaught's works. Have you read Someone to Watch Over Me?

Hi Raine! I'm glad I have someone finally to talk to about Judith's books!! I hope more people join us!

Thank you, I'm glad you like the OP.

W,ML is a great book, as well... have you read Until You? I just finish that book a week ago or so for the first time!

Yes, I read STWOM, it's actually my first book I read by her. And you know what? I actually like Mac and Sam a lot more than Michael and Leigh. I think Mac and Sam have more chemistry. What was your first book?

Have you read all of her books? Or certain ones?

Here are the ones I read:

Someone to Watch Over Me
A Kingdom of Dreams
Whitney, My Love
Until You
Almost Heaven
Once & Always (twice)
Something Wonderful
Perfect
Paradise
Double Standards
Night Whispers

The ones I haven't read yet are Remember When, Tender Truimph, Every Breath You Take, Miracles (ss), and A Gift Of Love (Double Exposures) (ss).

I really do hope so!

I've read almost half of her books. I first read A Kingdom of Dreams and since then got hooked to her novels.

I've read these books of hers so far:

A Kingdom of Dreams
Whitney, My Love
Until You
Remember When
Something Wonderful
Perfect
Paradise
Almost Heaven
Once and Always
Simple Gifts

I'm planning to read STWOM, but having doubts since some of my sister's friends say that it's not really that good.

I'm usually reading her historicals, especially about Clayton Westmoreland, and I'm really hoping that she makes a continuation of Clayton and Whitney's love story, but then she mentioned that she's not into that kind of thing, aside from appearances every now and then in her historicals.

I actually forgot the characters in Until You, but it's a great story too. I extremely love Something Wonderful, as I was touched by the last part.

Try reading Remember When, the story surrounds Clayton's brother right? I didn't get to read A Gift of Love but I have Simple Gifts, by Jude Devereaux and Judith McNaught. The book consists of short stories for Christmas.

Well, like I said, STWOM was my first book I read by her, and I love it so much that I went out and bought her other books. If you love Judith's writing as much as I do, then I would take a shot at STWOM. You never know.

You see ALOT of Clayton and Whitney in Clay's brother's (Stephen) story Until You (not Remember When - that's a contemporary). I really like the storyline of UY. The characters in UY are Sherry and Stephen. I love the ending where she's trying to win him back.

Who's your favorite hero? Heroine?

I think I am going to be reading Remember When after I am done with Nicholas Sparks The Wedding.

Oh, I'm sorry, I got all the stories mixed up in my head. Isn't Stephen's Sherry a teacher or something?

I actually have two favorite heroes and heroines.

First is the pair of Clayton and Whitney, because in the beginning, she didn't have the slightest affection for Clayton. She was all about Paul Paul Paul. But Clayton's so sweet that even if he's cynical and rough, he has this personality in him that's really appealing.

And for the second pair, I'm battling between Jordan and Alexandra and Matthew and Meredith, but I guess they're in the same level.

The heroes in Judith's novels are mostly cynical and rough, but they are soooooo sweet, and I love that in a guy.

How about you? Who's your favorite hero and heroine?

No, Sherry is a governess to Charise Lancaster who were on a ship. They were going to meet Charise future husband. But Charise went off with another man and left Sherry to tell Charise's husband that she left. After she got off the ship, he met a man who she thought was Charise future husband, and it turn out to be Stephen.... then Sherry got hit in the head and got memory lost... and so on. Has it been a long time since you read UY?

I think my favorite hero is Ian. I just love the scene between them when they are spending time in the little house and cottage. And my favorite heroine is Victoria. She's very strong and sweet.

Oooh, I found a couple of quizzes that I think you might enjoy!

It definitely has been a long time since I read UY, I think I read it in 2006. I don't even remember the storyline anymore. Was it Ian or Jason that had a fortune from his grandfather or something? My head's kinda mixed up. I have to read the books again.

I am definitely gonna take those quizzes now.

Did you hear that they're going to make a movie out of one of Judith's books? But that was actually a long time ago, I'm still hoping though, as I am going to watch it.

Raine: It was Ian that got a fortune from his grandfather - Mr. Stanhope.

I read something about that. Many of her books were reviewed to be made into movies but it didn't happen. I'm hopeful though, even though I have the images in my brain, I would still like to see a movie translated onto screen. Which book would you pick? I think I would pick Almost Heaven.

Don't forget to post your results of the quizzes.

Oh right, Ian Thornton got the fortune. I loved it when he took the title and not the money just to get Elizabeth back.

I would definitely pick Whitney, My Love if one of her books was going to be made into a film. Which actors would you choose for the part of Ian and Elizabeth?

Here are the results of my quiz. My results are actually the ones I really like.

For the heroine.

And for my husband.

You work hard but play just as hard. You demand the finer things in life, but so does he so it's a match made in heaven.

I'm tickled that we got our favorites!

Which actors would I should for Ian and Elizabeth... wow. I have no idea... but I do know that I would want un-known actors to play their parts. If they are popular actors, I think it would ruin it for me. (Like Nicholas Sparks - Richard Gere and Diana Lane for Nights in Roadthe) Hmm, I'll think it over and get back to you!!! What about you?

Yeah, we both got our favorites.

Well, mine's the complete opposite of yours. I want hollywood stars to play the role of Whitney and Clayton. For Whitney's part, I'm thinking Scarlett Johansson. She would be perfect for the part as she's most often put into roles that are quite historical. As for Clayton, I'm battling between Ben Affleck and George Clooney, but then again, George Clooney is way too old, so Ben Affleck's the guy. I'm just actually basing these choices on what I see and like, but I think their personalities don't match. Whitney's free-spirited, and I don't quite see Scarlett as being like that. And Ben Affleck doesn't look cynical or rough, or even authoritative, and Clayton has those personalities. So I guess it's still up to the film makers to choose, but whoever they choose to play the parts, I'd still love it as long as they stick to the story.

Have you made up your mind yet?

I honestly have no idea, I think I'll leave it to the filmmakers. I'm sure any of Judith's book would play well on screen.

What's your least favorite of Judith's?

I really love the OP!
I think I've only read one McNaught book. I think Once and Always? I need to get caught up with all the others!
