I was in total shock as well, actually got shocked quite a few timesL Spoiler: like when Darroc was killed so early in the book. I couldn't believe it, i kept thinking he was going to pop back up somewhere but he never did. And though I am a die hard Jericho and Mac fan, still was shocked and sad about Vlane. I liked him, hated to here he was the fourth that raped her but was very glad he gave her the potion to keep her semi-imortal. She would of been long gone if not for it. In a very twisted weird way you could see he cared, as much as a unseelie prince could care. I again have to say I LOVE the Unseelie king.

Spoiler: I again am really glad w/ the way they ended w/ V'lane. I think any other way would have been a disappointment for me. He was hard to not want the HEA with...and I couldn't have taken Jericho not being the 'one.' Yet V'lane saved her and protected her when it counted. I didn't even flinch when he was found to be the 4th. There was a part of me that saw him being that cause he did want her so bad coupled with his inhuman thought process when he found out it made sense...in a screwed up fae way. I didn't want him to moon and morn her, but I didn't want him to be the HEA either. Kinda relieved w/ this ending for him.
