finished jackie collins's hollywood wives the next generation. honestly it wasn't a bad book, but it was written like something a well written colledge freshman would write. nothing spectacular but glaringly naieve.

Love Story- Erich Segal

The book reminded me a lot of A Walk to Remember by Nicholas Sparks. I liked this much more because the scenes were short and concise, but still got the job done. I can't believe it but I actually cried at the end.

Edited cause apparently I can't spell concise.

Slightly Wicked by Mary Balogh. Some parts of it really annoyed me, but I was interested enough to try getting the other books in the series from the library- although I won't buy them.

I ended up skimming instead of properly reading Silent Melody by Mary Balogh. I think her writing style is much more suited to the traditional Regencies she used to write, and her newer, full-length novels tend to drag. Also, it's weird how I can absolutely love certain things about her books, and other things can annoy me beyond words.

Picture Perfect by Jodi Picoult

This is the second book by her that I've read and I am really starting to love her as an author. Unfortunately, the content hit a little too close to home and I kept nearing panic attacks while reading it.

I read Anthem by Ayn Rand. It was a great book, in the vein of 1984 and Fahrenheit 451, but totally opposite at the same time. This book dealt with a lack of technology in the future, and it was also a love story. Everyone should read this book. I command you! j/k

I've just finished reading George Orwell's "1984" which I really enjoyed. Strangely, it reminded me a little bit of Margaret Atwood's "The Handmaid's Tale".

Just finished Tanya Huff's Summon the Keeper
It's only the 2nd book I've read of hers and it took me probably four years of it collecting dust to actually open the book but it but it was very interesting in the end. And I'm looking into more of her stuff.
