Bryan Fuller who used to write for Heroes and is now the showrunner of Pushing Daisies gave an interview about Heroes. Here's something nice about Hayden:

I was primarily writing for Claire so I became very attached to that arc. Hayden Panettiere is such an amazing actress - she could read the 'phone book and it would be watchable

Bryan Fuller should be back to heroes , claire season 1 was awesome , she was my fave character in the show and i still love hayden, she is an amazing actress but IMO claire season 2 was too whiney , hopefully things change in season 3

In case there's no TV in the cave you call a home, you have been missing out on two of the greatest things to ever come together: Cheerleaders and super heroes. Leave it to NBC's Heroes to combine the two and gives us Hayden P.'s Claire as the end result's perfect visual aid.

Claire's powers, aside from causing guys everywhere to rubber-neck repeatedly, fall under the "indestructible" variety, and thus make her a key member of prime-time's coolest ensemble of gifted do-gooders. As much as we like the summer, re-runs suck. So we're quite eager for the fall to start, if only so we can get back to some fresh, commercial-interrupted Claire.

I'd say probably 21? although it's quite funny because Hayden's so matrure and grown up, the other 4 are all quite a lot younger than her
