I didn't like super dark Peter/Claire, but badass but still good Peter/Claire would have been nice, heh.

Hmm seems that way Sam, its just not "Paire" to me. It seemed to be a bit on the OOC sidde despite the fact its an alternate future.

I didn't mind it because there were reasons why they were the way they were.

Peter was essentially the same guy from before, still trying to save people and change the world even when it hadn't worked and he'd failed. He was darker, but we saw when he went back in time he still cared about his family, that is Nathan and Claire.

Claire on the other hand, had obviously suffered because, throughout her life, she's always been let down: her real parents, then HRG and in this future, Peter (as we saw in the comic) she felt had betrayed her by becoming what she thought was a 'bad guy'. At some point all that disappointment had turned to anger and she'd gone to Pinehearst. There were moments were we saw the 'old' Claire, like when she told Knox that she'd just killed her uncle and that she needed some time to be human, so her attitude was a mask for her true emotions.

I mean, I don't like seeing Paire fighting each other, and I do think they never really explained very well the future and why characters were the way they were, but at the same time I can see why Peter and Claire would turn out that way if things in the present played out in a certain way.

hmm perhaps, and while i know their is always a possiablity that Peter can always be darker, FYG for example.
I still prefer Paire to be on the same side and I hate the fact and made me strongly dislike F. Claire despite her ****ed up reasons for killing/torturing Peter espically Present for a crime he didn't So where was her humanity then.

I could never hate her though. In her eyes, he was on the wrong side. In his eyes, she was on the wrong side. It was what the writers were trying to do, blur the lines between right and wrong...but they didn't pull it off that well.

I don't like seeing them fighting either.

i didnt really see Peter being on the wrong side if anything he was actually the good one.

Yeah, he was.

But not to Claire, that's what the comic put across. She saw him as a villain, while the audience saw Pinehearst as the villainous ones. It's like Angela in S1 and Linderman, they thought they were doing the right thing. It's all about perception
