It is certain it'll be the last, considering the fate already for the show in S2 & S3... They had the syndication for this season... but next year it won't do well again

The cast and crew knew that ''the word was good'' before they finished filming s2 and even the writers had a pretty good idea because there was some changes in the scripts to indicate that. The only reason the renewal took so long was because the city had spent money from their budget so they couldn't give the show much for s3 so ABC studios, Lionsgate and ABC had to find a way to make it work without losing too much money. This year the city knew it advance the show was coming back so they kept that money for the show. The s4 budget is bigger than the s3 budget.
