I didn't even notice her make-up at the beginning of chapter 4. The only thing that stood out to me make-up wise this season was the premiere. Or do you think that's what she's referring to?

Yeah, that's what I don't know. They said chapter 4 but they mean volume 4, right?

Yes, that was the awful pink lipstick. And in theory, I don't disagree with what they were trying to do, I just disagree with the color.

The lipstick was bad in the first ep of Vol 4

but eek at Hayden choosing it! Hopefully she decided against it afterwards. Maybe she just wanted something to distract from the wig

Well I always got the impression that the make-up was an attempt to show a maturing of Claire. And that's fine, the color wasn't. I don't know whose choice it was--if it was Hayden's or a suggestion by one of the make-up people to a request for a more mature look but someone should have put their foot down.

It seems like she doesn't have as much makeup on anymore, though.
