A family with three children and their lives together and.......apart from Father who has died (in some undisclosed way.) Lots of flashbacks. Sounds convoluted, I know, but it works.

The premise of the pilot was that we saw three people who had the same birthdays. A white man, a white woman and a black man.
We also see a couple, the husband played by Milo, expecting triplets. She gives birth. Two babies survive. One dies. Meanwhile, a baby is found abandoned at a firehouse and brought to the hospital. The couple sees the the baby and decides to adopt him. He's black. The big twist is that the three people who share the same birthday are all siblings and the children of the couple we saw expecting the babies. And we find out that the three siblings are in the present day and the couple is in the past. So present day stories are told. And stories are told in the past when the kids were young. __________________
