but I'd lose all respect I have for Claire if she ever hooked up with him, and it would destroy every Claire relationship I love. So.. just hoping she gets all badass and shoves the wine glass through his skull, and then Peter and Nathan come flying in

Based on the little snippet we got, I don't think it looks like she's welcoming his attention.

But yes, reciprocating his overtures would be as nonsensical for her as they were for Elle. I won't lose respect for her, necessarily, because they have portrayed her as a bit lost over the past few seasons, but it'd be a HUGE leap in logic.

But I think the writers have found her core again.

The only way I could see her playing along is if she felt someone she loved was threatened by Sylar.
