I should get my timetable tomorrow and I'm just praaaying I have nothing on Tuesday. I know I'm in Monday and Wednesday, but don't know the day of my last module yet.. Tuesday is epic tv day and I want the day off!

from this week I'm going to have HIMYM, Heroes, TBBT, Greek, Gossip Girl and One Tree Hill all to watch on Tuesdays, heh.

And my chest is playing up so I might not even go heh.

And I know what you mean about Tuesday's being epic TV day

I have 4 shows to watch, I think? Plus Heroes this Monday has 2 eps to watch not just one.

And Tuesdays I have lessons in the morning and afternoon so it sucks

I have a full day from 9

and it's the same thing for the whole 6 hours.. I may want to kill myself.

That sucks. Last year I was just in from 1-4 on Tuesdays so I always just got up early and watched HIMYM/Greek/Heroes before I went. I wouldn't mind that again or just being in in the morning instead, but if they give me a full day... I will revolt.

It's a rule

We have to be in all day until we negotiate one period of home study after we get our personal statements in. One period = 2 hours so I'd get one morning or afternoon off. It's ridiculous.

Whaaat! You're in sixth form right? When I was in sixth form the official line was that we were supposed to be in college doing work on our day off, but it was never enforced

Is it just when you have a full day or do you even have to stay in when you have free periods?

Yep. We have to stay in no matter what we have. So on Wednesdays I have no lessons or anything but have to stay in the common room and just...do nothing. For 7 hours.

I mean, people do skive, but they don't even let people go out of school grounds - only at lunch. So we can't go into town in our frees either.

My school sucks

That's just wrong.

Our high school system meant that we had classes every day so our schedule was pretty similar every day.

I had full schedules except for my last year when I arranged my schedule so all the classes would be in the morning. I snuck home at lunch and stayed.

That's crazy

I live literally right behind my school so I always went home in my free periods, would have been so frustrated if I couldn't.

I guess your way does make people go in more often though, when you're at home on a free it's so easy to just not be bothered to go back in again

but our sixth form was barely strict at all, so many people didn't bother showing up for classes and the teachers just joked about it, lol. They used to just say that if we didn't show up it's our lives we were screwing up not theirs, so they didn't care
