Sarah (Yvonne Strahovski) is forced to confront a secret from her past and feels she must do so alone, while Chuck (Zachary Levi) urges her to let him help. When Sarah encounters her original handler, Kieran Ryker (guest star Tim Dekay, “White Collar”), she fears that he will harm those closest to her, including her mom (guest star Cheryl Ladd, “Las Vegas”). Adam Baldwin, Joshua Gomez, Sarah Lancaster and Ryan McPartlin also star.

Aw, that was such a good episode! I loved it.

Sarah was both kick-ass and sweet! Chuck was great as well. Devon and Ellie playing spy killed me.

Yes! It was unbelievable. The last few episodes have made this season worthwhile. So glad Alex/Morgan worked things out. They need to end the series TOGETHER at least. I don't expect to see a Marriage but maybe them ending the series ENGAGED could be a nice compromise. Hope that happens.

why did the makers zoom in on that (what seems broken) device at the last flashback in the office where Sarah is given her new assignment? 'round 40:07 that is. don't recall any device like that. can anyone provide me some info? or is it something to come in the remaining eps?

That was the device that Bryce used to send the Intersect to Chuck in the pilot episode. It was broken when Casey shot Bryce and he fell to the ground.

I thought it was a pretty good episode, not sure that I enjoyed it as much as everyone else seems to have though. I thought Yvonne was great, both as a badass spy in the start and then with the emotional scenes towards the end. I'm not 100% sure why Sarah wanted to keep the baby a secret from everyone, especially since once Ryker was taken care of she felt safe enough to invite her Mom and Molly back to their apartment. Morgan and Alex getting back together crosses one more thing off my wish list for the season and it was nice to see everyone stick up for Morgan and remind Alex that except for that period with the intersect he is really a nice guy.

It was nice to see Langston Graham come back, but it kind of messed up the timeline I had in my head. I was under the impression that Sarah and Bryce were partners just prior to Chuck getting the intersect, not sure if that really lines up with Sarah being off on missions with a handler.

I think she wanted to keep the baby's identity because she's still the heiress to a big fortune and the same men who killed her family and men like Ryker are probably still looking for her.

Enjoyed the episode. Loved the action sequences and seeing Tim deKay.

I know exactly what you mean. How does the whole Sarah/Bryce mission fit in if she just finnished with a hndler and goes directly to her Chuck mission??? Come on, guys! This is a disappointing gaff.

Speaking of mistakes, it was revealed in the Shaw missions that Sarah's real name is Sam. WHY does her mother who has not seen her since she disappeared with her father, call her Sarah??? Shouldn't her mother know her as Sam??? ARG! If her mother is not going to call her Sam and she is not going to use her real name as the WIFE of Chuck Bartowski, WHY did they bother to reveal her real name at all??? We know what kind of guy Chuck is with his no secrets between friends, so WHY wouldn't Chuck insist that if they get married, Sarah should use her REAL name? Hello! I get peeved when the writers of my favorite shows make huge mistakes like this.
