I caught a few episodes of Passions over the summer before it moved to directTV and there was a new Hank and he was engaged to Pilar (I think)...

I don't even remember Hank before Ryan. That says something.

You know, I loved that this last episode had much more Captain Awesome in it. Seeing him tutor Morgan was hilarious.

He was engaged to Pilar.

I loved that he finally got Captain Awesome on Monday. I had been missing him. I loved that he was tutoring Morgan it was great.

Oh wait.... not Pilar. Sorry... Pilar's the mom. He was engaged to her daughter, not Theresa, the other one. The police officer. I don't remember her name. I knew Pilar didn't sound right.

Captain Awesome was fun. I like how easy his relationship with Chuck is. He just fits in so nicely with Chuck and Ellie.

I also like that CA and Chuck get along well. It's great for everyone.

Seriously, it's one of the reasons I quit watching... nothing ever happened. It felt like it was the same day every episode.

I think I seriously hoped that one day the whole show would change and we'd get actual conclusions, or people would be happy for longer than a nanosecond.

How great was CA's Halloween costume? He and Ellie looked so cute as Adam and Eve. Very natural.

Mel- I know the show was on for 8 years and they gave us nothing. Keep hearing from a message board I visit from time to time that the same ridiculous things are happening at Direct TV.

Glad to see Ryan left that show and now he's doing this show.

I'm not surprised that nothing's changed. I gave up after they finally let Theresa and Ethan get married, and then stupid Allistair showed up again. That was the end for me.

You know I think the role of CA could have easily become this character they just kind of make fun of for being seemingly perfect, but Ryan's made him someone who's very supportive and helpful. You don't even have to question how important Ellie is to him, as well as Chuck.

Mel- yeah I just stopped after all the stupidity of the show. I've been reading what may happen and it's just stupid.

It's true that's what the character could've become but I'm glad they have made him into someone who is supportive.

Like when CA/Ellie saw that Morgan was sitting alone all sad and then he told Ellie that he would take care of it
