I hope it's alright to start this thread, I looked but didn't see a thread for Casey's daughter and the woman he almost married.

I know we didn't see much of them in S3 but hopefully we will see more of them in S4 and hopefully we get some deleted scenes from the last two episodes with Alex and Kathleen since both actresses were listed in the opening credits.

This is probable one of the best back story the show has come up with. It gives the scene in S1 when Casey is talking about how it wasn't like he ever wanted to get married, have kids, go to soccer practice and the Costco run speech.

It wasn't necessarily Ilsa he was talking about, it could have been the life he gave up with Kathleen.

So lets show our support for Kathleen and Alex.

Yay, I really like this story line too! It definitely humanizes Casey, and I hope we get a lot of protective/awkward dad moments in season 4. Plus it seems like Alex can hold her own fairly well from her self-defense classes It would be cool to further explore Kathleen also--I guess they had to tell her something to keep her safe? I wonder how that went down....

retropanda I agree it is an interesting story line. I would love to see Casey reunited with Kathleen and to see how they interact. Maybe they would end up together again as a couple but it would be just as interesting to see them dealing with each other as parents. How would Kathleen react to Casey becoming part of Alex's life.

Of course I would be thrilled if we got a scene where Kathleen shows Casey Alex's baby books or a video of her learning how to ride a bike. Clare Carey and Adam would knock those scenes out of the park.

This was the best finding ever in S3. I loved it.
I'd love to see more of this story in S4 for sure. A lot of people asked Mekenna (Alex) if she was returning. She was great!

But I can't see Awesome taking part (unless Ellie or Chuck are in danger). The man can't lie to save his life, though it's hilarious when he tries.

Well, Awesome is a thrill seeker. He likes sky diving, rock climbing, etc... so I think if he wants the thrill, he'll join Alex and Morgan on their 'missions'.

Kathleen won't be pleased

Somehow I doubt that Ellie would be pleased either.

Still, Morgan being the most experienced member of this team is just funny enough to make it work!

Alex is pretty good in self defense.. they take Awesome along to be their medic. And translator.

Ellie and Kathleen can bond while they worry over their family.

I can see Ellie and Kathleen ganging up on Chuck and Casey when they find out that Awesome and Alex have gotten into the spy life. That could be an amusing scene.
