"School Lies" - 1x12 Episode Discussion Thread

The kids break into the school swimming pool at night to have a party, but someone nearly drowns. In the face of expulsion, a pact of secrecy is formed, which Dan is hesitant to be part of, causing tension between him and Serena. Meanwhile, Vanessa learns about Chuck and Blair's affair; and Lily considers expressing her true feelings to Rufus.

Okay, I am torn between this ep. Just because my CB shipper heart was disapointed. But i did like Leighton's protrayal of Blair.

I liked how she had to keep fighting herself to not give into N. Just because he was finally do things worthy of her and C was blackmailing her.

I liked the VB interaction. Oh and i loved Blair confessing "crime of passion" to the headmistress. (the girl is just dying to talk to someone about it!)

Of course i did not like the NB, because i love my CB. But at least i can say that N is treating her better.

I thought Leighton acted very well in this episode, but I just didn't like it. I want Blair with Chuck. I'm not a fan of N/B.

Nate has really improved his behavior! That's the Nate I love...and that Blair loves too

I think she avoided him in the first place because she thought Chuck told him about his virginity,but she learned how he was trying to earn her love and trust and she surrendered

I totally loved this ep.

The whole storyline for everyone with the "who broke in" thing was great, I love big eps like that, it was super great.

I loved the Blair scenes in general, she was super great as usual. You could tell she was so conflicted because she wanted to be with Nate after he's doing all these sweet things for her, but at the same time the whole thing with Chuck, she doesn't want it to ruin what she has.

I really loved the NB stuff, it seems like he really loves her and he's proving his love for her... not taking her for granted and pining for someone else.

I also love the CB, and I hardly found it a disappointment. I think this all has to happen, otherwise there would be no drama whatsoever. If the writers can build up both relationships, by showing that Nate really loves her and Chuck is falling for her as well (which proves to be the case, as he wouldn't care about blackmailing her if he didn't have true feelings for her) then you have a real triangle.

I'm really excited for next weeks ep, can't wait to see what's in going to happen with Blair. Really great ep, I think it was one of my faves too.

I found this episode just alright, in terms of plot and subplots. I much preferred the Christmas episode. For the first time, I did not care for the Dan/Serena storyline at all.

The Blair stuff was great though. Nate is really showing that he really cares about her and they were sweet together. It's nice to see them together when Nate is actually fully into the relationship.

I did enjoy the C/B scenes too and their little banter at the pool and at Blair's place. And I loved seeing some Vanessa/Blair scenes. I laughed when Blair said that she could return to disliking Vanessa at the end.
