Are you saying you read (and re-read) my stories for something other than the smut??????

I mean, when people hear you write smut, they think porn without plot. And things like that exist everywhere, but while you and I know my stories are not porn without plot, it's very easy to think people read/re-read for *that* content alone. If someone does not say otherwise, you can imagine what I must assume those hits, after all these months and years look like.......

Yes I re-read for reasons other than smut. But you write that very well I re-read your stories mostly because of the interaction between Chuck and Blair and the plots of course. They always have more than one layer and I love all your references.

I'm (im)pateinetly waiting for an update on The Life and Lies of the Upper East Side. Really good!

See, I understand going back and reading *other* people's stories for things other than smut. But despite all the hard work, thinking, time, research, etc *I* know I put in my stories, at the end of the day, I just see the smut writing getting the gold star. Isn't that all that's setting me apart? I think.

So I think I'm going to have to go and curl up with your comment for a little while. You like my plot, my characterizations of Chair, and omg, layers and references. I can die happy now

I'd like some more of Sleepwalkers :glares across state-lines at Sabrina Fairchild: Though in general I should probably poke around for another story to read. Just... smut without babies is kind of a limited category, hahaha.

I sound shocked because I was *totally* shocked. Not to sound uppity or anything stuffy like that, but I could write an essay on what Love You Some Day is about. Seriously. It wasn't *just* a challenge to see if I could have smut in almost every chapter... or make the readers scream at Chuck, hahaha. There are motifs and an actually theme in there... somewhere between all the smut and hormones, hahahahaha. Gah, I'm dork...

Yup, woke up this morning and was like, "Omg, I wonder if this will work?" Now to just bring this supposed talent I have, coz I need to bring my best game on this rewrite. Take your homage and stuff it -_- (still feeling a bit grrrr after three weeks)

And believe it or not as much as I appreciate the smut if there's nothing besides that like no plot, good dialogue or well-written characters then I'm probably not going to read it. I'm kinda picky. lol

I agree with Glo if there's no plot and well-written characters then I won't read it. What's the point then? And with your stories we have good plots and well-written characters and the smut as a nice bonus

A story without layers and references is nice to read once. But it's the ones with those ingredients I read again, goes for fanfiction and "normal" books.

In Love You Some Day I also loved that the chapters were named after other stories. I read some of those too.

You write CB the way I (and many others) wish they had been written on the show. And you totally deserve the bes fanfic writer award you got from the EW board!

Awww, more comments to snuggle up in bed with! If I was artsy at all, I'd love to make some cool... thing... that's made out of all the nice comments and reviews I've gotten.

^_^ I'm in tons of pain right now (don't ask, it's so embarrassing!) but you guys are making me smile! I've learned a lot from what you've written. Because it has smut, I feel like it get requisitioned to it's own corner, though, it makes sense that plot and layers and characterization are important in every type of story for it to be enjoyable, and something that can be read more than once.

it's funny you mention the chapter titles in LYSD. People have differing opinions on that element. I, being my silly self, consider it a homage and almost a kind of 'advertisement', though I did try to fit the titles to the chapters as well. Not everyone agrees with it though, it seems.

And your last line is just going to kill me. And Glo, you didn't have to go and agree with her! I mean, I had the several 'you should write the show' type comments, but geez... that's quite a statement :hides under the covers:
