I was given the ok with this thread so I hope that we can get it going! The title pretty much explains what it's all about.

More things coming such as a banner and someone suggested facts etc but just to get us started.

I thought it could work overall as a Leighton thread.

LOL! Count me in on that! I'm so glad we got this board so early on and it has also given me a chance to meet a lot of other people who love Leighton as much as I do.

How about a little discussion?

Do you guys have a favorite Leighton moment overall as a character? I was re-watching some of her stuff and for me, the scene where Blair reads the letter to Serena still stands out. The way she really showed how vulnerable she was, how sad and hurt, lost she was....really got to me. Leighton did an amazing job portraying Blair's feelings there and I really teared up with her when I saw her eyes and tears. One of the bets scenes for me, hands down and probably my favorite Leighton scene in any show period.

That scene with the letter was so amazing i just loved how Blake and Leighton interacted there
and it showed a new side to Blair ITA Carro

but my favourite Blair scene is kindoff torn
the scene with Blair and Chuck and the necklace meant so much,
Ed and Leighton performed it perfectly and it just got to me,
the tears in her eyes and the shoulder kiss and her vulnerbility and the way she just didnt push him away
meant alot and then theres Dan and Blairs conversation in 106 and its not only
the acting that stole my heart, its the wibe of the scene..how she listened to him and understood what he was
saying because she´s gone trough the same thing and that it affected her so much
that she could actually stand up to her mother. There´s something so unspoken about that scene
the feeling and wibe to it just..its hard to describe but
they didnt really have to say anything in that scene but when she asked
him why he didnt tell his mom how he felt you could tell she already knew
the answer but she still asked and thats only one of the reasons i love it

^I agree with you. The scene with the necklace was awesome and it really showed yet again, another side of Chuck that he shows us when he is around Blair. Also, for me, I was heartbroken for Blair and how sad she was on her birthday. I really hoped for her sake that Nate would have called her like she thought he would and the sad look in her eyes when she realized he wouldn't...broke my heart.:/ Once again Leighton did an amazing job there.

Oh yes! I love seeing the relationship between Blair and her mother, who doesn't realize how hurt Blair was and thinking the shoot was more important. I t was sad seeing Blair having to act like she didn't care when her mom first told her. But that count me in on loving the scene with Dan and Blair. I think they can have a lot in common and they understand each other in a way that no one else does I think since they have gone through some similar experiences.

ITA, Caro. I'm so happy we got this board and I have a place to express my Leighton love, and it's a way to meet all these great people!

Oh, yeah, she definitely gives me butterflies in her scenes! She's amazing. I think the letter scene was my favorite on Gossip Girl, too. Just the way that Leighton acted it, with all the expressions and emotions, it was brilliant. And it was so beautifully written... I just adore that scene. IA about the Dan hallway scene and Chuck necklace scene, those were good too! Probably my second and third favorites.

Do you have a favorite Blair being bitchy scene?

I can't help but to love her in those scenes. Sometimes she just adds some great comedy to them too and lines that just make me LOL so bad.

It's a gift she has.

I have only seen her on GG so far but all her scenes as Blair are amazing, she captures the comedy, vulnerability and meaness of Blair so well.

I have just downloaded most of her guest appearences so I will get to watch them later I can't wait
