when i read the three first books, i couldnt stand blair! actually the only one i could stand was jenny and chuck

but i do love blair on the show, mostly cause of leighton <3

I seriously disliked Chuck and he's my favorite tv!GG character. So yeah, I can relate to that.

its weird, josh totally ruined jenny for me though. I always imagined her redhead, freckles and chubby.. and then the show comes, and she's the complete opposite!
Blair is totally like I imagined her, lookwise. Serena not so much, but now I cant imagine anyone else.
Chuck, also like I imagined him. Hot devil

^^ ITA with that. Chuck and Blair were great fits for the roles. I didn't imagine Serena like Blake but she does such a wonderful job that I don't mind at all.

really? it was Blair in the norwegian books. Thats so weird that they changed the names. I hate when they do that!

I've read the whole series and absultley loved them... I REALLY dislike Chuck in the books so was suprised how much I liked him on the show... and Dan annoyed me in the books but I love him in the show.. Blair, Serena and Nate are exactly how I imagined them... especially Blair.

I've been a huge fan of the books since the very first one was released and as soon as I heard that Leighton was going to be playing Blair, I pretty much freaked out. I knew she would be absolutely perfect for the role and she is. The one thing I was very concerned about from the books-show transfer was the Blair/Nate relationship and how it was going to be portrayed. So far I really don't think the show has done them justice, but I'm hoping in the future they really pull some more BN aspects of the book onto the series.

I find the Jenny stuff bothersome, but I don't really care too much because she was never a favourite of mine in the books and she's really not a favourite of mine in the show.

Any characters from the books you guys want to show up on the show eventually?? I would love to see Aaron one day, with Cyrus along too (and of course baby Yale in the future)
