Leighton Meester - Episode Discussion 1x13 ~ A Thin Line Between Chuck and Nate

Gossip Girl takes pleasure in reporting that Serena van der Woodsen was spotted buying pregnancy tests. Of course, on the Upper East Side, the truth is often even juicier and more scandalous than the gossip. An anonymous source sends evidence to Gossip Girl before they even know what really happened. They just assume that everything that is on Gossip Girl is true. Also, Nate finds out that Chuck has been having an affair with Blair. This does not sound pretty. There is also a girl that is portrayed as the "look-alike of Blair Waldorf" named Hazel. Looks like Blair isn't the only mean girl at Constance Billard. This is the last episode of the season unless the strike ends soon. There are so many questions that everyone is dying to find out. Hopefully this episode will answer all of our questions. Some questions: Is Blair pregnant? Is there going to be a Gossip Girl baby? Is Lily really going to marry Bart Bass? Would Serena survive being Chuck's step sister? Will Blair lose her Queen Bee position? This is definitely an unforgettable episode that you sure won't want to miss out on; I promise!

mmkay, lots to say about this ep. first, I was definitely angry and sad. Blair was so sad and I felt so bad for her, so I was getting pretty said and sprouting some tears. plus it was the last ep so that made me really sad. and the anger, oh boy I was pissed. Really, very, angry at almost everyone involved with Blair, and I'll go into that now.

Lets start with Chuck - I can honestly say that I hated him in this episode, and that's something I haven't felt since the pilot. I hated who he was, what he did, just everything about him except his hotness. He seriously disgusted me. Now this is strictly a one ep base, for all of them really, but Chuck was at the bottom of my list. What he did to someone he supposedly was falling for, someone who he had butterflies for for the first time in his life. Disgusts me. And I still don't get why he did it... he lost everything too, and he really didn't have much to start with. grr.

Nate - I was angry at how hypocritical he was and how he deserted Blair when she needed him the most. After everything he's done to her, how dare he act like that. Chuck was right about one thing, he slept with Blair after Nate kept rejecting what Blair kept trying to give him. He had NO ROOM to say ANYTHING to Blair, IMO.

So with that said, I hate both the boys right now. Still love the ships of course, but tonight I'm still angry so DB is my favorite. =]

Jenny - okay, I've been thinking on this for awhile. I always thought she was a lot like Blair, but she could never do some of the things or act some of the ways that Blair did. Yet, she's doing the EXACT same thing, if not worse because she's treating that girl the same way she hated to be treated. She had NO BUISNESS listening in on Serena's conversation and then telling Nate about it. I thought I wanted the BJ friendship, and I was actually mad at Blair for not welcoming it, and then Jenny goes and acts the way that she did. Serena was first to be ruined, now Blair, watch out Jenny you're next. This is what you wanted, congratulations.

Serena - okay, so this is the one part of the group that didn't anger me, everything with Dan was super cute, and I loved how she didn't give up on Blair no matter what happened, that's a best friend right there. B and S are lucky to have each other. I love how she realized that she needed to stand by Blair because Blair is going through what Serena just got out of.

Eleanor - in the beginning, I was like hey lady don't be so rude, but I realized she's just a concerned mother, worried about Blair's bulemia. At the end when she comforted Blair and was there for her, I thought that was super sweet. I really love that their relationship is getting better.

and finally...

Blair - okay, she was just amazing. I always loved her as the powerful "bitchy" queen, but in this episode, as sad as it was, I loved her even more. She was just amazing. I connected with her. Even my mom was on her side and she's never liked Blair. She kept saying how she hated those catty bitches at her school, it's sad really how fast things travel because of GG and how much that one night can ruin a girl's life. =[

But it was a great ep, as sad as it was for many reasons, I really loved it. I loved how it was all focused on Blair and Leighton really got to shine in it. =] And I REALLY loved the end.

I can't believe that was the last ep.

Blair: Leighton was amazing in this episode as always. I love it when an episode revolves around her. There were times when I felt bad for her, and others where I didn't. However, I can't wait for her to get revenge on those bitches, including Jenny.

Nate: Ugh, I hate him! Haven't been a NB fan since the Masquerade ball, and probably never will be again. He was so hypocritical. She forgave him for cheating on her with her BFF Serena, why can't he do the same? So mad at him.

Chuck: I understood where Chuck was coming from. He's still hurt over Blair taking Nate back. Plus, she was really rude to him in their scene by the steps. He shouldn't have texted Gossip Girl, but that's who he is. When Blair came to see him at the bar, she treated him as a last resort. He wasn't gonna let her treat him like that. I still have hope in CB.

Jenny: I really could not stand her tonight. She had no right to eavesdrop on Dan/Serena's conversation, and blab to Nate about CB. She'd said she wasn't gonna change who she was to fit in.. yeah right! I liked Elyse. She was cute!

Dan: He was adorable in tonight's ep. His reasons for loving Serena were great.

And finally...

Serena: I loved her! From her scenes with Erik and Dan to her amazing scenes with Blair.. it was fantastic! That last scene with BS was so good. I adore their friendship and can't wait to see what they do next.

This episode was great. I didn't like the last one that much but this one makes up for it. Finally they gave the CBN triangle a good storyline.

I felt really bad for Blair. She needs to give all those wannabes a lesson and I really hope she ruins Jenny's life.

I just watched this episode and loved it.

Blair: A always I love her. I love vulnerable sad Blair because Leighton plays her so well. I felt so sad for her all the way through. Not knowing who she can turn to and being deserted by all the wannabes. I hope she destroys them for the way they treated her. I am so happy SB were on fine form and the end scene was

I can't wait for new episodes it will be B and S against everyone.

Blair and Nate: I loved the sweet scene we got at the beginning but then all their progress went down hill when Nate found out. I know that B forgave Nate but not straight away so I am hoping it goes the same when the tables are turned.

Blair and Chuck I didn't hate Chuck because we know who is and what he is capable of when pushed. I am just sad that it was B that did the pushing and got all of Chuck's wrath. I hated what he said to her in the bar that was harsh but you could tell he didn't mean it, just that his pride was hurt he wasn't going to show that.

Serena: I love Serena she is amazing, risking the scandal for Blair and always being there no matter what. All the scenes with Dan were so sweet, all of his reasons were amazing

Loved all her scenes with Blair and Eric aswell.

Jenny: I don't know what to think about Jenny now the wannabes have replaced B with her. She was mean to B and should not have eavesdropped and gone to Nate. I'm still undecided about her.

Bring on S2 (which i know won't be for a while) It will be B and S against them all.
