EPISODE 3x10: The Last Days of Disco Stick
Airing: NOVEMBER 16TH, 2009 at 9PM ET/8PM CT

Hoping to impress the elitist theater kids at NYU, Blair sets her sights on landing a private concert with the hottest musical performer of the year, Lady Gaga. Dan and Olivia sign up to write and star in a school play, based on an idea by Blair and directed by Vanessa. With Blair out of the picture, Serena turns to Nate to help her get through a difficult situation. As a favor to Chuck, Jenny agrees to hang out with Damien, the son of an ambassador who is staying at Chuck’s hotel, but the experience proves to be a lot more intriguing than she expected.

Omg. I hated this episode!

CB in the beginning were adorable, Blair poking her head out from the curtains made me die laughing, and Gaga was amazing. Everything else sucked so bad!!

Writers??? What the hell are you doing to Serena?!?!

Gossip Girl 3x10

Dan’s memory involves the girls kissing again. He’s so happy with himself.

Serena’s leaving message 30 for B; going on 31.

Blair and Chuck are talking about S and Trip. B wants to get in with the Tisch kids. Chuck has plans with an ambassador’s son for business.

Dan/Nate. Natie calls Chuck his bestie and tells Dan he’s STUPID. The third person is supposed to be a stranger!

And he commented on V being “very vocal.” Hehe

Nate has no girlfriend and with SN on the rocks, he has no girl. friend.

Vanessa comes over! DV kinda awkward and the hug and make plans.

Blair tries to fit in and they kinda don’t like her. Blair will have none of that!

Dan/Olivia. “I have you.” “And Vanessa.” Says Dan. “And Vanessa,” Olivia confirms; not too happily.

Dan wants to get into the play writing program. Also, DV have plans. A tradition since 7th grade.

Olivia is not happy and gets coffee alone.

Chuck enters casa van der Woodsen and gives Lily a file. This is the only LC I get? BTW, why is Chuck giving Lily a file? Isn’t she part of Bass Industries; of which Chuck is no longer a part of?

Chuck explains his plans to go the planetarium with Damien. Rufus is shocked Chuck knows what that is! Haha funny. NOT.

Lily suggests that Jenny can help. Jenny sees Damien and is all.. SURE!

Olivia and Blair and it was a big confusing but I guess Olivia’s gonna help B out since O has an invite to the Cabrera.

Serena and Trip. Trip’s going to DC tomorrow. But S thought it was in January. Yeah, but Maureen wants now. Maureen comes in. they need to pack home office. S can do it because M trusts her. Yeah, okay. Too cliché.

Nate’s on the phone. WITH HIS MOTHER. Oh, Anne is alive at least. And Nate talks with her. Aww. Adorable.

S enters. There’s no one else she can talk to about this! And tells Nate about Trip and her.

Vanessa is in a beautiful blue outfit! O/V. Olivia hasn’t been around. Getting a change of clothes haha

SN “You can count on me, always.” Oh, Natie!! *SQUEAL*

Jenny and Damien. She talks about Waffles because..Belgium. Get it. He doesn’t care. He left when he was 4. They see Chapin girls. Damien goes to the sail boats.

Dan and Olivia at Bleaker.

B is there! They’ll do SNOW WHITE. Because it’s B’s favorite. (consistency! It’s Georgie’s nickname for B!)

Blair’ll be producer, co-star and director. Dan can write it. Using Lady Gaga songs.

D/O. “You already told her.” Dan’s not happy that Olivia canceled Dan out on V.

Jenny calls Chuck because she’s creeped out. And then Damien has money and I’m all WTF.

ND on the phone. Nate gives threesome advice some more. Hangs up.

SN. Nate’s helping everyone out with their problems. Hehe. SN are adorable.

Serena calls Trip to tell him goodbye. Trip understands but how about lunch? S about to say yes but Nate shakes his head so S says no. Bye.

And the maid comes in telling Trip that Anne is there. BUT WE DO NOT SEE HER! I love how he says “My aunt?” She exists? Wow. He’s shocked, too.

Dan has V direct. V catches O in a lie.

I love that Dan says Amalia, Sophie, and “Twins.” They have NO NAMES! And B’s the aging Queen and B doesn’t even care. I LOVE THAT. She’s growing up!!! But B will have to talk with Dan later about his “subpar acting” 2x18 throw back!

“Dan always shows me his early drafts.”

Olivia isn’t happy with that. Hehe

So, Damien’s an international drug dealer. Customs doesn’t check because of his father. Nice. So, is Jenny in?

SN having yogurt/ice cream. They mention Catherine and fake!dating and S has cream on her face and Nate wipes it off and *SQUEAL* Trip calls. Nate won’t let her answer. They’ll go do a bar crawl and get drunk. And there’s a hug but it’s kinda awkward on Natie’s part because..he STILL loves her, guys.

The girls are talking about boxing the other out. Blair’s listening.

Olivia’s line about everyone knowing she’s in love with Dan. “It is true,” says Amalia. She ships them!

Blair finds out about threesome and has the EXACT SAME REACTION AS NATE. Does this mean CBN have had a threesome? Can I pretend that’s what it means? It’s not like Nate nor Blair have had threesomes before but they know this. So it’s definitely CBN behind the scenes.

BTW, can I just say, I love this leader of the Geeks. WHAT IS HIS NAME!?!?!

BD. Dan needs to talk to them. “In what order?” B says. She’s right!

She lists what she has to do. “And girls to blackmail.” I love this Blair.

B/O and B/V convos with the blackmail. TMZ, Gossip Girl, Vermont. LMAO. She’ll tell them all!

SN at the bar. They haven’t drunk alone together since the Wedding. 3.5 years ago.

Trip calls Nate. Nate takes it the side. Trip tells Nate that Maureen did it. He doesn’t know if he wants to see M again. And he tells Natie that Anne told him – she tried to tell you, baby!

Nate returns to the bar. Lies to S. She asks if it’s Dan and he says yes.

Jenny is feeling awkward with Damien. I’m glad because so am I.

BD are waiting for the girls. They appear.

D/O talk. Vanessa’s just his best friend. “Vanessa has no feelings for me.” But he says NOTHING about how he feels towards her. And, Hilary Duff – I mean Olivia – is with me on this. “It was from you.” “You were looking at Vanessa like you never looked at me.” And not only was it a look. There was a kiss. “That you even know what I’m talking about proves it.” Because he knows the kiss she’s talking about.

The play. Hilary’s singing Love Game. It’s a bit awkward with D/O.

Jenny’s like the go between the drugs/money and she can test the product but in comes Chuck Bass to take Jenny home. “I’m Chuck Bass.” And even in Europe they know what that means. BTW, the way Chuck/Ed says “DUDE” is amazing!

So back to the play. Olivia’s nowhere in sight. Blair pushes V on stage and DV have to adlib a bit. It’s amazing.

SN. Nate confesses about Masquerade and telling Jenny (whom he thought was S) that he loved her.

“You loved me?” “Of course I did.” I have DIED!

HE STILL IS IN LOVE WITH YOU.

They’re about to kiss but Trip’s a cockblocker and comes in. Ugh. Hate that.

Seriously loving this Snow White idea. Made props show!

So, Prince needs to kiss Snow White.

“You have to kiss her,” B whispers.

“Kiss her!” the one chick who’s been in and out the ep.

So Dan kisses her and it’s a flashback to THE KISS that Olivia was talking about.

“Snow White is alive, but are Dan and Olivia dead?” Yes, Gossip Girl, they are.

Blair gets congratulations! Dan, too.

NST are talking…well, Natie’s kinda third wheel. So Trip needs a walk and invites S. Dude, you interrupted SN about to kiss. Why do you do this to your cousin? Boo!

Nate tells S not to go because it’ll be crossing the line!

“That line just got a little blurry.” S – this is why I don’t like you.

B takes them all to see Lady Gaga – a Tisch alumnus. She’s so strange!

Dan/Olivia. “I needed you to kiss her.” “Your feelings for her are real.”

Olivia has taken the witch movie.

Vanessa comes over. Denies feelings and says Paul Hoffman (the guy in charge) kinda likes her. But she doesn’t know about DO’s issues. So basically, Danny-boy got double dumped. Nate and Blair were right!

Chuck and Jenny at the vdW place. Chuck warns Jenny against … I don’t know. I didn’t fully get it enough to type it out. But I get it in my head. So, it’s like Jenny is purposefully anti-authority so she wants in with Damien. I’ll never understand her.

S/T kiss. I gagged a bit.

Natie’s alone at the bar.

Dan sees Vanessa and Paul and he’s alone. LONELY BOY IS BACK. I love it. PINE, baby, PINE! You’ll get the girl. So will Natie.

I loved this ep simply because Blair's plan finally worked!

It was great to see something work out for her. I was so happy for her. I loved her scenes with D/O/V. And the scene with Chuck at the beginning was cute

I love Kevin Zegers, but Jenny/Damien was pretty dull. I did like Chuck trying to help her though.

I actually enjoyed the D/O/V storyline. Sad to see Olivia go, and I'm interested to see what happens next with DV.

Nate/Serena were

I felt so bad for Nate when Tripp showed up right when they were about to kiss. I am really disappointed in Serena for getting involved with a married man

Yay congrats B. Plus in adittion to you being a prop to DOV you got to be the evil queen at some point!

OH and what does C exaclty mean by "it's gonna take more than BW to drag you out"???

I thought the NYU stuff was lame and very painful to watch

NS is the only thing I liked this ep.

I'm sorry but the name Stripp sounds kind of awful

The lack of CB (and Chuck getting good storylines) sucks but at least we got some Blair/Olivia, Blair/Vanessa and Blair/Dan.
