EPISODE 3x04: Dan de Fleurette
Airing: OCTOBER 5TH, 2009 at 9PM ET/8PM CT

It’s the first day of school at Constance Billard which means it’s also time for Jenny to take her rightful place as the new Queen Bee. Unfortunately for Jenny, Blair is more than happy to intervene when news reaches her that she may be needed back at Constance. Lily returns home to Rufus and her family to find that things are definitely not as she left them. A famous movie actress, Olivia Burke, enrolls at NYU – and is assigned to be Vanessa’s roommate – hoping for a somewhat normal college experience. Tyra Banks guest stars as Ursula, an actress co-starring in Olivia’s movie and someone who Serena befriends

Who missed Lily? *raises hand* OMG, I wasn’t exactly looking forward to her, but damn, that was beautiful.

Enter: Headband from the finale. Jenny decides against it. I still do not like the look.

BUT! BLAIR WALDORF! I need a picture of that dress! Hot damn, she is beautiful.

OMG. WHY MUST YOU DO THIS TO ME! Dan/Nate. I know we wanted more interactions with Nate and REAL cast, but effing hell. *SCREAMS* I HATE THEM. (Although, Natie needed him to read over his paper…at least it’s not like they’re just besties hanging out.) *cries*

In comes Hilary Duff. Yeah, still not a fan of hers.

ROTFLMAO! OMG, Blair Waldorf, I LOVE YOU! She’s looking for the Masters of the Universe. ROTF!

And there’s my baby boy. OMG, he’s with – you guessed it – JENNY. Looks like he and Jonathan are still together, but he’s not coming back for another month. What about school, Johnny?

OMG, punk girls. Gag me. ALTHOUGH! “First, go wash your eyes.” ROTFLMAO. OH MAN, NO MORE EYE MAKE UP. PLEASE.

What’s up with all the S/R scenes? Although, Rufus impersonating Lily was hilarious.

IN COMES LILY! (I’m skipping over O/D now and continuing with Lily!) OMG, LILY IS THE VOICE OF SMART PEOPLE. No one knows who they are when they go to college. THAT IS THE POINT. YOU TELL HER! OMG, I still hate LR and hold a grudge, but I LOVE YOU!

S wants to find a job…. But…why don’t you work for Chuck…AFTER YOU APOLOGISE! That would be way more awesome.

Jenny’s speaking. I didn’t really listen. But the Trio is NOT happy. SOS BLAIR WALDORF!

B gets the message! “By the way, sandals are not shoes!” And she walks out of the café. OMG. I love you.

Vanessa enters her room. Casey is insane. Olivia appears. Can V/O make a movie now? (No? Hmm..then why do I care about Olivia?)

S’s interviews. Yeah, okay. Nada. Just want to invite her to parties. BECAUSE SHE IS A SOCIALITE!

And ta da, S impresses Casey. Weeeeeee

ERIC! He mentions the Trios’ have BW marked on the headbands. OMG. That’s the closest BE thing we’ll ever get. NOT ENOUGH! (where’s Cyrus?)

Bree’s in Texas. With the family. She’s gonna rat on Carter, now? WHERE IS CARTER?!?!

Oh, joy, more D/N. BUT! Whatever. More O/D bull. I don’t care. But Natie knows who it is.

“Oh my god, unbelievable.” And his LAUGH! *SWOON* I MISS YOU NATE ARCHIBALD! (I need this tiny scene again – minus the O/D.)

Tyra, I mean Ursula. Diva. Um…what else is new? But S and U get along. Shocker.

B’s at the Waldorf home. IT STILL EXISTS! DOROTA IS ALIVE! B is hosting the annual soiree! Wee Chuck’s not happy.

Dan puts his foot in his mouth by mentioning he doesn’t want to be with someone in the spotlight. *yawn* And it’ll still happen. And I still don’t care.

OMG! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. WHY WAS ERIC NOT AROUND. At least give me some CE if I have to put up with C/J. WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY.

We got a mini DV scene.

And there’s the red carpet.

Dorota tells B she agrees with Chuck. Well, duh. CDorota are smart!

And C/J are together. *deep breath* For Blair. For Blair. For Blair.

OH NOES! GG BLAST. Chuck totally blasted about it. Hehe. I love you Chuck Bass.

S talks about the job. Lily calls S out on why she got the job. Umm…SHE’S RIGHT! I LOVE YOU LILY!

Dan finds out who Olivia is. DO NOT CARE.

Movie..omg..that’s horrible.

And IN COMES LILY BEING RIGHT. Casey used S! (she gets fired!)

*SQUEAL* BC! THEY ARE EPIC MOMENTS! I NEED THIS NOW!

“NYU is hard, but Blair Waldorf does not give up.”

And he’s insulted that she got him easy apparently since she’s like quitting NYU. *gasp* Baby’s hurt.

“The next time you forget you’re Blair Waldorf, remember I’m Chuck Bass. And I love you.” *SWOON*

I LOVE YOU.

And someone asks B for a picture. I called it. Knew it was Chuck. I LOVE HIM. He loves his Blair-Bear. He knows how to do it!

Post fire, S goes home and packs. Tells Lily she’s not going to Brown but she’s moving out. WHERE ARE YOU GOING? (I’m confused, she’s staying with B? I approve!)

Lily: “This is your fault.” – To Rufus. I AGREE! She needs some alone time. Go into Bart’s office and cry, baby? *pets Lils*

Dammit, I thought it was a NV reference, but looks like Vanessa was talking about Scott to Olivia. *sniffles*

BLAIR HAS FOLLOWERS! Girls who went to Elite schools and didn’t go Ivy. YES! I knew they existed. About time you found them.

ROLE PLAYING NEVER ENDS. Chuck gave her a school uniform outfit. He needs “tutoring.” We’ll never actually SEE this, but none-the-less. *SQUEAL*

I think Tyra – umm Ursula – just got S her job back. Whatever.

Boston! V calls. Yeah, I think the summer was better for VSc than the show. She’s so sad! I HATE YOU SCOTT! He says he’ll talk to her later because there’s someone else on the line. It’s Georgina! They’re like besties now. ECK!

OH! BTW, I just noticed B’s got a picture of Audrey on her wall. LOVE IT.

Chuck/Blair

They are so amazing, my GOSH! That speech at the end just took my breath away, and Chuck said ILY TWICE

Dan/Olivia weren't terrible, I actually really enjoyed their scenes and Hilary was really cute and sweet. Definitely didn't bother me at all

Nate was there for like .5 seconds but his scenes were super funny.

Tyra, wasn't terrible and I enjoyed her SL with Serena.

I missed Carter, thank God he's back next episode YAY

Nate finally had scenes with someone else other than Bree.

It wasn't as bad as I feared but it felt a little disjointed compared to last week. Georgina, Carter and Bree played a rather big part and there was the cliffhanger with Carter/Bree but this week they were nowhere to be seen. But G is back next week to cause trouble.

Surprisingly I kind of liked Olivia/Dan and Tyra was pretty good.

I hope they can stop humiliating Blair and we can move on from this. CB were

as usual.

I didn't like the episode. Watching it I was wondering why I keep watching this show.

It was badly written,so even the CB scene was pretty lame. B's SL was dumb.
J was just a plot device.
I didn't care for the guests.

B's FINALLY got minions at NYU. I think it should pick up.

Hmm..BC's scenes were the only things keeping me awake this ep.

Imo, apart the bad writing it was a mistake to have Duff and Tyra with so much screentime at the same time. It was all about them

Finally got around to watching the ep

I didn't hate Blair's storyline as much as I thought I would. It's hard to let go of high school sometimes, and I could see where she was coming from.

CB

Chuck is such a good boyfriend. His speech was great.

Don't care for Jenny anymore. It's weird having her as the only one left in high school. I don't really include Eric since he's barely shown

Serena's storyline was decent. I like that she's trying to figure out who she is.

Dan/Olivia - I actually liked it. I've loved Hilary since I was like 12, so it was so surreal seeing her on one of my favorite shows

Agreed. How about focusing on the CAST instead of guest stars (and recurring - Eric, Georgina, Carter are CAST). Not everyone already gets enough.

The guest characters have more screentime than the regulars. And having Hilary and Tyra did nothing for the ratings.

Unfortunatelly I agree with this. Jenny hasn't had a decent storyline and I think it hurts that she's the only one still in high school. And let's not even start with Eric, who's never there.
