As the summer is drawing to a close, Blair and Chuck are madly in love and adjusting to their new “in a relationship” status, breaking all traditional rules of dating as would be expected. Serena returns from her European adventure with many secrets to hide and a complicated relationship with Carter Baizen. Nate returns from his travels with a mysterious brunette, Bree Buckley in tow. Rufus, Dan and Jenny spent the summer in the Hamptons, adjusting to the van der Woodsen’s glamorous lifestyle surprisingly faster than any of them expected

Okay, beware, this is my full review on the episode.

Gossip Girl 3x01

OMG, it’s been a long summer. FINALLY, new episodes. I hate the Humphreys, possibly more than ever. But, alas, here goes my thoughts on the episode:

OH JOY! ERIC! I LOVE YOU! BABY, MISSED YOU! And we got a LOT of screentime. WITH JENNY! EFF THIS! ALL OF HIS SCENES ARE WITH THE HUMPHREYS. STOP THIS NOW!

Natie..omg, I like this so far. Political rival families. More politics, baby. And Joanna is hot.

Blair and Chuck…at first I was like..WTF. I don’t get it. Because it was obviously fake by the looks and stuff.

More Humphreys. OH! ERIC! E GETS CHUCK’S ROOM. Well, at least my wish came true. Chuck isn’t in that place. Yay.

More importantly: VANYA! Hehe. Can we actually see Dorota/Vanya on GG and not just D’s webisodes? *giggles*

Lots of Vanessa and Scott this episode. I’m not sure I like his game, but they are adorable and he loves DV, so always game in my book.

I don’t like Dan’s hair. (Or Jenny’.) Eric’s smile..*swoon* Love you.

And I’m sick of SD already, but at least it’s definitely not romantic. Whatever, S already HAS a big bro. (WHERE ARE YOU?)

CHUCK AND NATE! BOYS! YOU IS BESTIES! Sad we never see make ups, BUT MY BOYS! I LOVE YOU. NO LEAVE ME AGAIN. But, um..Chuck doesn’t want to be in the Palace? Nor does he want Bass Industries? FAIL. WTF guys?

I missed the Ivanka thing. Someone have what he said about her? Because it would make my day. Bass vs. Trump would be best.thing.ever.

I love Chuck’s suit. And the blue tie. TIE. Where are the bowties, baby?

Blair and Chuck…getting crazy about this game. But, hot damn, that man is the hottest thing on Earth.

Weird Scott/Rufus scene. Thank god I know the REAL reason he was like that..because eww…fangirl no work if it wasn’t because he was your son.

“You’ve been served.” ROTFLMAO B got a restraining order on Carter. LOL S is crazy.

And they’re off! Weee horsie!

Bree tells Natie about her family. Cool. Sure. She’s hot. Yeah… “I’m good at secret relationships.” OH, throw back to Catherine. Nicely done.

DING DING DING! “Cry of attention.” So we finally get when S is like this. I LIKE IT!

OH NO! Daddy didn’t want to see you!

But Carter wants S. Her crying and the kiss! HOT

More Grandfather. OMG, I think this could be a REAL plot, Natie!

“I almost believe you.” “That’s all I need.” Hehe… I like it.

And Grandfather calls Tripp. TRIPP! Come back, please? Now?

ECK. B with the security…UH OH.

OMG, DV HAD AN ARGUMENT. Dan, you fail. Thank you, V, for calling him out on it! YAY! Love you.

And Carter. I love him. Hehe.

Chuck is alone. He’s got a headache. B questions if they need the game.

“I’m not Chuck Bass without you.” Everyone swooooooonnnnnnnnnnns.

I died. I think that is THE.BEST.LINE.EVER.

HOT! OMG, VSc! They’re so hot. YAY V for taking the leap. Scotty, don’t make me hate you more than I hate your heritage already!

I like the suit, Chuckles. Please, Ed Westwick for Young Bond! NOW.

New role playing. But, we need more and kinkier and .. more…and steamier scenes, k, thanks.

That line made the whole ep for me

CB were great in this ep! So hot and in love.

It was amazing. I was glad that Blair wasn't really into the games, and Chuck realized it.

DB were so funny! I love it when they team up.

Carter/Serena! Now that's a pairing I can get behind. They are sexy together, and I can't wait for more from them.

Gah, I loved this episode so much

What an amazing start to the season. I loved everything about it.

CB: Were absolutely amazing, no way EL could ever lose that chemistry that makes them, THEM.

I FLIPPED OUT when Chuck said that line, I never thought we'd get it when we didn't get it in the premire, but J Safran came through and gave it to us.

CaS: WOW, LOVED THEM. I never thought in a million years they'd be that good, but they were amazing. Seb was of course fantastic, and everything about their scenes together screamed chemistry. Blake really hit home with that scene in the woods, she broke my heart.

Everything else was great, only thing that irked me was Vanessa towards the end, and Nate/Bree are a little on the dull side, but what are you gonna do

I really enjoy the episode. It wasn't great but it was cute and it's more than I could say of half of S2.

CB: I love that the games are over and CB will learn to be a couple. The last scene on the bed was absolutely fantastic. They have an amzing chemistry.
DB: so cute, can't wait for more of them as friends.
CaS: I am interested in S for the first time in the show. The last scene was the best in the episode. Sebastian was fantastic and imo he made Blake act better than she usually does. I want him to stay.
When he said:Who is he not to want you? I would've stayed with you all summer" I think it was perfect. Best acting of the episode.
NBree cute, even if not worth shipping. I think I like N and his family SL.
VS I don't feel them and he looks creepy.
DV I sided with D, I still don't like V. But I wonder if they might set up a DV pairing.
