Episode 2x06 New Haven Can Wait Discussion

Blair, Serena, Dan, Nate and Chuck go to Yale.

After Blair and Serena get into a fight, Serena decides to get even with Blair, who has always dreamed of going to Yale, by going to Yale instead of going to Brown as planned and accepting the Dean of Yales private invitation to the campus.

Dan discovers that none of his recommendation letters for Yale were sent, he tries to figure out a way of getting into the school. Also Chuck is kidnapped by a group of Skull and Bones members and Nate hooks up with a co-ed.

I actually kinda liked this episode.

Blair/Serena - They both did horrible things to each other in the episode. I'm really happy that they made up in the end.

Chuck/Nate/Dan - It was sad seeing CN "break up" over Dan. I just don't see Dan and Nate as friends. It's weird. It was so great how Chuck blackmailed the Skull and Bones guys. Amazing!

Jenny/Rufus/Vanessa - Eh, I think they could've left this out of the episode. Not needed.

I am soooooo excited for next week's ep. It looks like Cruel Intentions! CB =

I really loved this episode, mainly for Blair/Serena. Their scenes were so great to watch. I really liked that they touched on the prospects of the ladies growing apart and Blair`s fear about that, which is very realistic for any friends. I`m so glad that they made up in the end.

We all know that no matter what, Blair and Serena`s love for each other will always prevail.

In Serena's defense, though, she was dressed quite intelligently with that fabulous crested blazer. Anyways, would Yale really be impressed with the fact that Serena was in a fashion show, especially one as low-rent as Eleanor Waldorf's? I think the Dean was more impressed with Serena's lack of bra. I loved that outfit but I'm not sure jeans, boots, and a low-cut blouse are the ideal college interview ensemble. Although, maybe if I had shown a little cleave, I could have gotten into an Ivy League School. Damn. Hindsight is a bummer.

I really liked this episode, I think they just keep getting better.

Besties are BFF again but I don't feel it was too soon, I think you can still see that there are some issues left that I'm sure will raise their head later. As much as I enjoyed the cat fight (Blair changing that name on the paper made me go :O ), I'm happy to have the Besties back.

Leighton rocked the facial expressions in this episode! That My Fair Lady dream was awesome and made me laugh. Also her face when Pete's name was called had me

Nice to see some Dorota/Blair bonding, especially when Eleanor wasn't there for Blair.

Chuck is a magnificent bastard. I actually found Nate likable (and Dan) but he lost some points in the end. He wants to be friends with Dan more than Chuck?

I did like the Jenny storyline as well but Rufus doesn't really have any parenting skills. Is Vanessa now teaching Jenny? Is she even qualified for that?

And yay for that preview! Bring on the Cruel Intensions!

I forgot to mention how much I loved Blair/Dorota! When Dorota said how proud she was of Blair, I literally awwed out loud. She is so amazing to Blair.

Yes, Blair/Dorota is always awesome but when it's Dorota supporting Blair, it's even more awesome.

Episode was pretty decent. I liked that they focused on friendships, but I hated that my fav chars got screwed over.

Jenny - I actually liked her SL, she has grown so much. Like how she just accepted Rufus's decision at the end of the day and didnt whine. Very impressive! I'm liking her more and more

Chuck - He effin pwned as usually! Loved how he randomly pulled those hookers out of nowhere

And that he has those pics of SB members now. That is the evil Chuck Bass I know and love

Also loved that he got back at Dan, Dan was pretty lame with Chuck in the beginning. I knew Chuckless would never give up his Natie-poo

Dan - Even though I didnt like how he was with Chuck in the beginning, I still liked him in the eppie. His lines were hilar! I'm def seeing that cute adorkable pre-Serena Dan from S1

Nate - It was so funny how he suddenly turned into this manho

Charming the pants off of this chick. What I didnt like how he was so surprised in the end after Chuck said Dan is nothing. I mean he's been C's BFF since kindergarten, and now suddenly he doesnt like that C is so evil? Lame. Besides C saved his ass, once again. But N doesnt care, as usually. Whatever. I just want to slap him.

Blair - My heart broke for her. This wasnt some stupid B vs S shyt anymore, this was me just being effin depressed as a hardcore B fan cause APPARENTLY S is so awesome that she can take EVERYTHING away from B, by just being herself and shining. B's little speech about the things S has taken away almost made me cry. As for them making up at the end of the eppie was pure bs. They didnt even resolve their issues. And srsly after they do such horrible things to each other they can hold hands and skip away into the sunset? Eff that.

Serena - No comment.

Oh and I loved how Dorota said she is proud of B

That was so cute.
