Without revealing to much info, I don't think there was any reason why it had to be *Carrie* anyway.

I feel like they only wanted to use Carrie anyway was because Leighton became popular.

They could have used Shelley Pomroy or any other guest star.

do you think that they had already filmed too much of the movie with it as "carrie" and assumed they could work out a deal w/Lei, and then when they didn't, it was too late?

i'm gonna be honest, i'm glad she didn't do the movie, I was bummed when she didn't at first, but now i'm fine that she didn't do it.

I'm not sure. It's not very wise to start something when you don't have the commitment secure. I think she signed on The Judge while the kickstarter was still going so you think they would have tried to figure out her filming schedule in advance.

I'm fine with her not doing it too. It really wasn't meant to be. She wouldn't have had time for any promo because of OMAM and I think The Judge is going to be really good for her.

if you go by twitter lot of people are upset that leighton is not part of the movie,it would have been a bigger movie if leighton was part of the cast
