Oh no! The original ending did NOT have Chiles going to Beau!! Apparently test audiences all demanded it since CB were so popular! So glad they did, too!

Girl, I would have been a one woman riot at my theater if they hadn't had that ending. Good thing for Cinemark (and my rap sheet) that they added the scene in.

I saw the movie last night, and I honestly can't remember the last time I've been so utterly and wholeheartedly captivated by an onscreen couple.

Leighton and Garrett have SO MUCH CHEMISTRY, they brought the characters and their story to life and I can honestly say that they've become one of my favourite couples ever, movie or otherwise.

To be honest I wouldn't have loved the film as much as I did if it had ended how it originally was going to. I would have loved the acting of Leighton/Garrett and their characters but I would have left the theatre with a bad taste.

So glad we have a DVD release date!

Can't wait to get it so I can watch their scenes again!

I try to comment on all the fic I read, because most of my fandoms seem to be ever dwindling and this one only has like 2 or 3 writers to begin with!

I would've been devastated if she hadn't returned and found him. I was just on the edge of my seat hoping and praying it'd be a good ending for them. I adored how it ended with them looking into each other's eyes, doing what Kelly had told them...to love, to fall in love, with as many things as possible.

Gladys,I agree! They just sparkled. Chiles was too adorable and Beau has some sexy charm in the back pocket of his jeans.

I had even been accidentally spoiled that she was coming back and I found myself holding my breath, hoping she would walk in.

(Although I'm starting to believe Leighton would have chemistry with a blow up doll, after seeing her with both Ed and Penn, then with Garrett, plus I just caught her episode of House on Monday. It's made me super-excited for The Oranges.)
