| The promo for this episode gets me more excited than I've been in a while. I cannot imagine how drunk Ryan must be to voluntarily hug Michael in a public place! So excited! | |||

I've never said this before an episode airs, but I really think this is going to be one of my favorite episodes ever!!! Ever since I read the episode description when it first went up on Office Tally I've been insanely excited. And these promos have me even more excited! I'm a huge Ryan fan. And I love Michael/Ryan interaction. The hug has me all giddy. Plus, B.J is looking hot. And Dwight in the mix too.....this is going to be great. ![]() And Mindy wrote the episode. ![]() Quote:

| I'm also really interested to see Jim's plan and see him in an authority position again - will he go all Michael this time or be up to the challenge? | |||

I just feel like we're running out of time and with all the JAM stuff I don't know. But, fingers crossed. __________________ Ryan Howard/B.J. A demotion perhaps.Loved Ryan's reaction to Michael and Dwight at the club. Giving them big hugs and all into them being there. Even Michael is in disbelief........it's Michael and Dwight Michael says. Loved how they got into the second club. Dwight turning down that lady's drink and it turning her on and into a makeout session. Michael taking a picture and sending it to everyone. ![]() Ryan getting kicked out of the club. Dwight singing to Ryan. Michael saying we're going to take off your clothes. ![]() Michael's "best night ever". Ryan was so on something that night. The pressure is obviously getting to him. Ryan/Jim: Very interesting moment between these two. I liked that. Jim pretending he didn't know what Ryan was talking about (the David Wallace thing) Ryan's veiled threat (watch your back Jim) and his just kidding and Jim's look. ![]() Ryan/Kelly: We got a moment! Angry Kelly. I love it. You're right......how dare he. Loved Dwight cutting Andy out of going clubbing with him and Michael. Michael asking Jim if he'd have sex with Meredith and whether he thought she'd keep it quiet. Jim's idea was good but too funny how they got locked in. So not good. And then not even being able to go back in the office. Stanley's "you both worked together on this one" and then his "if I'm not in my bath with a glass of red wine in one hour you're both dead." ![]() Pam/Toby moment! Creed actually had the security guard's name right and he's the one that never knows anyone's name. ![]() Jim not collecting the security guard's tip money...... Andy asking everyone who thought he and Angela were a better couple than Jim and Pam and everyone raising their hands. And Pam's Phyllis after she raises her hand. Awww. Kevin does a kind of with his hands. And of course Toby's hand is up. Toby getting the football and Pam saying she knows how to throw a football and Toby's "of course you do". Pam hitting Meredith in the face with the football. ![]() OMG, Toby putting his hand on Pam's leg and the look on Jim's face. And everyone else's for that matter. And then him saying he was going to move to Costa Rica and then saying he was just going to hop the fence and jog home. ![]() Jim calling Oscar as soon as they see the cleaning women at the gate. Didn't go over too well with Oscar. Hank getting there after everyone was gone. Jim is so dead! ![]() I don't know if this episode was as laugh out loud funny as I thought it would be but it was pretty funny. And definitely some interesting things happening or revealed. 1. Obviously the whole DMI website has pretty much flopped. Ryan is hoping to save it with the launch of DMI 2.0. I think he knows his job is on the line here. The pressure has obviously been wearing on him alot. So much so that he has a drug problem now. 2. Toby..........so not expecting his crush to be outed. Although he probably could have played it off if he he had kept it cool instead of going with the whole Costa Rica thing and bolting. OMG. Poor Tobes. So embarassing. 3. I find it interesting that here we have Jim in charge again and we find out he's less than stellar. Which this time at least the idea was good. But, through the course of things we find out he's not as great as he thinks he is (sorry Jim). I sort of found him a little cocky with his whole great idea line and how he automatically thinks he could run the place so much better. Of course most people tend to think that about their bosses. But, again, I just tend to think that when you get in that position you realize it's not as easy as you think. Plus it takes time and experience to realize what does and doesn't work. And we know Michael does have a love of DM and the people which we don't exactly get from Jim. Jim was no better than Michael with his immediately calling Oscar when the cleaning people showed up at the gate. And the african american comment. Not collecting the tip money for Hank at Christmas like he was supposed to. Not trying to pick on Jim here...........just pointing out. Just found it interesting. This is twice now he didn't come out smelling like roses with everyone like he thought he would. And Pam's comment about how it's too bad they didn't work Saturday and how Michael would have had a whole theme pary thing going on like scrambled eggs Saturday and everyone smiling like yeah, that's Michael, he would have made it fun since we had to work on a Saturday. And as far as Jim/Pam sort of a let down after last week, but I kind of figured we wouldn't get much with those two stories going on. How sad the office kind of turned on them. And I found Michael's comment earlier in the ep weird when he acted like he thought Jim was still single and seemed surprised he was still with Pam. Just weird. ![]() __________________ Ryan Howard/B.J. Novak ♥ "He's one of the most consistently, daringly funny guys that I've ever worked with," (Paul Lieberstein on B.J. I believed that Jim came up with the idea to stay late instead of coming in on Saturday. (I was kinda hoping that there would be a mention of why they didn't want to come in on Saturday, but would sacrifice a Friday night [date night] - oh well!) I believed that Jim would totally forget to let the security guard know about them working late (even though I have a hard time believing that the security guard just went ahead and locked the gate with like 15 cars left in the parking lot, but whatever). I'll even suspend my disbelief that Dwight's the only guy in the whole office who has keys to the place (even though I've always had the keys to my office). But then Jim gets the security guard on the phone and he can't string together a coherent sentence? Really?! The guy who's a good salesman because of his charm? The guy who went in and charmed Katy in about 30 seconds? Because now it seems almost pathological that any time Jim is put in charge of something - he turns into Michael. And then we find out that Jim didn't collect the money for the Christmas tip? So is this to show us that Jim really is the ass that Karen and Katy must think he is? That he is only dreamy to Pam and now that he has her, he's not capable of doing anything nice for anyone else? Okay, I'm being sorta sarcastic here, but I'm just having a hard time wrapping my mind around Jim the Bumbling Idiot.Quote:
![]() When Michael said that to Jim about thinking he was single, I got a mental flash of him saying that to Jim in like a year and Jim being like, "Michael, I'm not single. I'm married. [flashes ring] To Pam. Six months ago." I think that Michael just can't comprehend a relationship lasting for any length of time because his never do. I dunno. I was underwhelmed by this episode. I laughed out loud more in the episode than I did in the last episode, but it's not one that I would watch over and over again like the previous two. | ||||||||||
