I wonder if EB needs a US drivers license to get a green card? You don't need one to drive. I'll be interested to see if she tries to become a citizen; I remember Emily Mortimer becoming one after her husband panicked that if he died, as a non- citizen she'd have to pay 70% tax on his half of everything.

Undoubtedly it's a cultural issue, but I find it weird when politicians address films stars; they're such weird, unrelated spheres to me.

I don't think she would have been able to apply for a Green Card before now; she's worked in the US on and off for years but because she's an actress her employers would have always been able to claim she's the only one for the job and so residency wouldn't have been necessary. Now she wants to live in the US permanently she'll premsumably need a Green Card and since there will be tax incentives and she can have dual nationality I imagine it might be worth her while to apply for citizenship.

The trade reviews (The Hollywood Reporter and Variety) are out for SoBo.

It was appropriate last night since so many celebrities were in attendance. Of course his Trump stuff was my favorite, but that made me laugh too.

Trump totally deserved it because he made ludicrous and offensive remarks. I don't really feel the same way about Damon, but I love it when politicians are petty because it's entertaining. Elections are the best because it gets really ridiculous...

I didn't think about EB staying for the premiere but that does make most sense.

Well, I guess she could fly back to Michigan after a few days in Cali. I saw somewhere that she was expected at the premiere but I don't know if that was offical or just someone's spec.

Both Obama and Seth Meyers had some great jabs in their speeches. And Obama wasn't kidding throughout the week when he said he had better stuff to worry about than his birth certificate. Trump is such an idiot.
