I'm excited to know how Jim will handle his job, especially now that Ryan won't be around to pressure him. We'll also know how his relationship with Pam progressed since she has been away to take classes. Season 5 can't come fast enough

I really hope we get to see Jim's journey this year, since it was so abbreviated last season. As we've discussed in the past, they can't really do anything with him that would take Jim out of the office because we know that the chemistry of the cast suffers when John's not there. But I'd love to see him either really get good at his job or at least talk to Pam about other options which would line up with their personal plans. We'll see

I expect Jim to move forward, even if he's meant to be in Dunder Mifflin. Like I said before, I don't know how he'll handle his job now that Ryan is out of the picture, but I hope all that effort we saw hasn't been an one-time thing.
