Favourite band/song at the moment? I've had Gloriana "Wild at Heart" and HelloGoodbye "Here in Your Arms" playing a lot lately. I'm not big into music though, I mainly just listen to avoid silence. I'm going to see Taylor Swift though. That's the first concert that I've actually paid for and wanted to see in a long time.
Favourite Disney movie? Mary Poppins. And I'm seeing the Broadway in Chicago live version next Saturday. So pumped!
Favourite flavour of popsicle? I go with strawberry for just about every flavor. I love the pink flavor ice ones though. Where it's the huge box that you freeze. They make me cough but oh well.

Do you have any books you'd like to read this summer? I'm actually about 100 pages from finishing the one I wanted to read. It's called "Pretty in Plaid" by Jen Lancaster. She's a hilarious writer and I've read all of her other books. They're autobiographical and I literally laugh out loud when I read them. I'm also in the middle of Chelsea Handler's first book. I like to be amused when I read.
Who is your favorite baseball player? Ever: Robin Ventura. He's retired now. In the game today, I've got 3: Ivan Rodriguez, Joe Crede and Scott Podsednik. I could also throw every single Sox player on that list because they always impress me.
If you could see any two teams play in the World Series this year, who would they be? Obviously the White Sox on the AL side. It'd be sweet to beat the Cubs for a WS but they'd never make a run. If we played the Washington Nationals it would secure a win, most likely a sweep. I think the Dodgers or Cards would produce a pretty great and competitive series though.

On 2 separate NYC trips, I walked past the theater it played in practically everyday. It was pure torture. When I saw it was coming here for a limited run, I got really excited. Then I saw the price of tickets. But since I get the Broadway in Chicago emails, they have awesome deals (keep it in mind if you ever come here for a show). The tix I got are the $90 orchestra level seats but they were 2 for $99. Almost buy one get one. Couldn't pass that up.

What is your favorite vacation destination? There isn't one place that I go to constantly. In fact, there are probably only like 3 places that I've gone to and returned to. Growing up, our vacations were wherever my brother's baseball and my softball took us far enough to stay in a hotel. I loved Boston and Seattle and would like to visit those again. On my list of never been to places are Colorado and a drive up the western coast, south to north. A friend of mine and I have been talking about maybe doing that next summer. Going all the way from southern Cal to Seattle. I love traveling and would rather go to a random place than a big destination spot. To be honest, most of the time I plan a vacation around a baseball ballpark.
Whats your favorite ice cream flavor? Cookies and Cream. We have a homemade ice cream place in the Chi burbs (Plush Horse) that makes the best CnC.
What kind of role would you like John to star in next? I loved his character in AWG. I felt like it seemed so true to who he is as a person and it was nice to see that come through. I could see him doing that again. I'd also love to see him in a hilarious comedy and am really looking forward to his movie with Steve Martin and Meryl Streep since they're excellent to learn from. I'd even take him in a completely ridiculous movie like "Old School" "Hangover" etc. Just a dumb plot but it makes you crack up nonstop. And I honestly think he has the talent to do just about anything.
