Why has it been so hot in Chicago lately? Because it's imitating Florida.

Why is it so expensive to fix 3 stupid little things on my car? Cuz parts are expensive and mechanics are greedy?

Three things you'd like to do before you die? 1. Be a season ticket holder for the Chicago White Sox. 2. Visit Italy and find the street with our family's name on it in the town that they came from. 3. Visit all the states.

If you could do any job in the world, what would you do? I really truly enjoy being a teacher. That's not a lie. It's tough, but I wouldn't want to be stuck in an office all day or have to work year round and not get random holidays off. Though, if given the opportunity to work in the sports field, I'd take it granted I liked the sport. I'd settle for being the water bottle carrier or towel hander outer for a team that I really love. Hear that White Sox?

What colour is your toothbrush? My home one is orange and white. My travel one is yellow and white.
Favourite late night talk show? I'm totally digging Jimmy Fallon.
If you had to choose one guilty pleasure song, which would it be? Yikes. Probably "Don't Stop Believin'" because it was our theme song for the 2005 World Series. By "we" I mean, the White Sox. During our WS rally, the 2.5 million that showed up belted it on the streets of Chicago with the Sox and Steve Perry leading the way. I get goosebumps thinking of that day.

Favourite episode of The Office? The Dundies. I never fast forward or skip any part of that ep. Ever.
Favourite character on The Office? Major character: Jim. Minor: Tie with post-anger management Andy (didn't really like him before that, but now I don't mind him in reruns since I know he'll turn out ok) and Kevin.
Favourite saying from The Office? This is too hard, I quote it daily. I probably say, "Boom, roasted!" most often these days.

What's your favorite fast food restaurant? Chipotle. I get there at least once every couple weeks. If not more... We also have a burger/dog place in town that's awesome. One of those one-of-a-kind places where everything is good.
What's your favorite color? It's always been purple, but I've learned to love orange a lot within the last few years. Purple's top though.
What subject do you teach or if you teach different subjects, what's your favorite? I taught 3rd so you teach everything. Can I say my favorite subject is recess/lunch since I don't have to see the kids?

Kidding, kind of... I'm a complete math nerd. Always have been. I love math games and using manipulatives and group work so it makes it fun. My kids studied more on their own so that they'd be good for their games. I also like doing art stuff with the kids but there's rarely enough time. You're lucky you get a project in for each month to display.

What is your favorite game show? In college we had the Game Show Network. There was this show called Lingo that I watched all the time. I'm a fan of Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy, Password and Family Feud. I like the ones where you have to think quick.
If you could be anywhere in the world right now, where would you go? I'm not sure. Probably why this is the first year in many that I don't have a trip planned. If I didn't have to work or worry about anything, I'd probably be somewhere like Oregon or Maine or Colorado. They all seem like such calming places and it'd be nice to get away from the stress for a bit.
