The Duel

The office is on eggshells because Andy still hasn't found out about fiancee Angela's affair with Dwight. When Michael spills the beans, Dwight and Andy take matters into their own hands. Meanwhile, Michael is nervous about being called down to corporate for a meeting with Wallace.

What did you guys think about the episode?

I thought it was a great and funny one. Loved the cold opening with Michael being a '31'

I'm just glad Andy knows the truth and I thought the guys took the right decision after all. Angela kinda deserved that.

Loved Jim trying to find Dwight's weapons

Not so much of Jim and Pam, but it's understandable... I think it was time to finally solve the Dwight/Angela/Andy triangle.

Glad to see Kelly with a hilarious quote

I've still to see the episode but am looking forward to it for the first time in a long while.

CAn i check, this is the first episode after the Christmas one, cuz I have it down as episode 11.

Yep, first episode after Christmas... counting Weight Loss as 5x01-02, there are 12 by now.

I loved the episode! A lot of it has to do with the fact that Andy finally found out which made the first part of the season hard to watch at times. Anyway, the ending made me incredibly happy. I'm so glad the guys realized Angela was playing them both and ended things. I love that she was left just standing there as Andy called to cancel the cake and Dwight threw away his bobblehead. Just wonderful! She honestly had it coming. I was hating that she was cheating on Andy, but everything she said or did in this episode just made me even madder. I can't believe she actually said that the winner of the dual would have her (though Meredith calling dibs on the loser was awesome). That's so ridiculous and the fact that she was still trying to lie to Andy after he asked her straight out?

I don't know how they're going to be able to make her likable again.

Dwight's realization at the end when he found out about Andy and Angela having sex was the saddest part for me. I really did feel bad even though he was also in the wrong. It's just that he, like us, honestly thought that Angela didn't want to be with Andy. Before this episode we only knew that she very much liked him.

One of my favorite scenes of the episode was the conversation if whether Dwight and Angela ever had sex in the office. Phyllis' nodding was hilarious, but Oscar asking where killed me. He played that look of horror so well! I was cracking up.

I loved the David Wallace/Michael stuff. I was laughing so hard when he asked Michael what he's doing right.

Their whole interaction was hilarious, especially when Michael was giving that long answer that cut to his TH about him beginning a sentence a lot of the time without knowing where it's going.

I also loved how Michael continued to eat his lunch even though David wanted him out. Their scenes are always so great. I loved all of it.

Creed and Kelly also were two of my highlights. I loved Creed's your welcome line to Andy when he confronted the Office gang about Dwight/Angela. Kelly's line to Angela about people's options getting smaller as they get older was hilarious and perfect. I loved it! Jim was also great in the episode. I loved when he walked right in the middle of Dwight and Andy's first confrontation.

So funny! I saw that in the promo, but it still made me laugh watching it again. I also loved all the weapons Jim confiscated of Dwight's.
