Officetally's got the cold open. I want to, but I can't bring myself to watch it.

Oh, that's tempting, but now that it's just a day away, I don't want to spoil it

That's how I feel too. If it was like a week ago, I probably would have watched it. But now with it less than 24 hours, I can be patient. I think...

I know. I've been so weak for this episode. Gah.............it has just been too long I think. But, I should have held out for one more day. The clip was awesome though.

It's understandable though. Like even if this doesn't turn out to be the funniest episode ever or the "instant classic" that Steve Carell said it would, I'm still going to be SO happy just to have them back on my screen.

To me, it's like when I went to see an episode of Friends be taped. It wasn't the funniest episode to watch and it definitely didn't end up being very funny on tv (cause they cut a lot of the funniest stuff IMO), but I will always watch that episode and laugh because I watched it being performed live and I loved it.

I've missed this show so much that just having them on the screen with new material is going to be awesome. I'm ready to really laugh again

I completely agree Jenn. It's going to be awesome just to have them back on our screen and to laugh again.

That's cool about the Friends ep.

It's a good thing that I haven't peeked at the cold opening yet, I'm such a sucker for spoilers! But it's tonight so I will definitely wait for it.

I've been psyched all day for the new episode as well. As soon as the Red Wings playoff game is over, IT'S OFFICE TIME.

I loved the episode. While there were some especially cringe-worthy parts like the M/J fight when Dwight arrived, I loved it. I felt really bad for Michael, though.

Some things I loved in particular:

The extent Michael went through to get Jam over. I was dying!! Seriously, there are comedies and then there's The Office. I feel like I haven't laughed this much since the last time we had a new episode.

Anyway, I loved the tour of Michael's condo.

Jan making Jim sniff the candle and Jim's face

That tiny plasma TV. I was so mad when Jan smashed it!! I loved Michael's $200 bit to her, though.

All in all, Angela was my all-star. I laughed at every expression and line of hers. Every time. I loved her "No, no," to Michael when he tried to hug her and her reaction when Andy gave her the rose.

I also felt so bad for Dwight even though I couldn't stop laughing. Man, I didn't realize I missed Dwight that much. I might have missed him the most. Anyway, I wish we got more of the other characters, but I actually don't care.

Oh, and I didn't like all Jan's comments and looks to Pam, but Michael lying that they were together is pretty hilarious. Oh, and Angela has noticed the way Pam looks at him?!

I love the whole "flooded" joke and everything with it. Jim trying to leave and Pam getting excited, Michael saying that it was a one person job and Jim willing to leave without Pam, Pam turning it around and making Jim stay, too, and Jim saying that his apartment is on fire.

The Jam ending was pretty sweet. I love that Jim stole Hunter's CD and Pam started singing. Jan putting back together (or trying to) Michael's Dundie was nice, but I think I'm done with M/J for right now. Tonight was too much. I hate to give up ships, but they need some time apart and not just a night with Dwight.

Cross-posted from my LJ

I've said time and again that the cast could simply sit in an empty room and read the phone book and I would be ecstatic. I'm not ashamed to admit how much I've been looking forward to this episode and though I was sure that the episode couldn't live up to the 171 day build up, I was happy to have my favorite Office mates back in the Office.

I've not been a fan of the recent episodes where it seems like they just can't wait to get out of the Office, but in the episode, it just absolutely worked. It was the fabulous, awkward, uncomfortable humor that this show has perfect and I couldn't stop cringing, laughing and cringing some more.

I'm so distracted right now by a million things I'm not going to do this review justice, but I'll try. I loved how totally f'ed up Jan is right now. I don't think I've ever laughed so hard as when she was grooving to Hunter's CD and then getting Jim to spin her. I was dying!

In "The Deposition" the tension between Jan and Michael was uncomfortable and it hurt. But this time, I couldn't stop laughing. They were both just being so passive-aggressive while trying to be the hosts on crack and I just couldn't get enough.

I'm very curious to know what the hell Michael has been saying about Pam at home that Jan thinks that Pam wants Michael and that they dated some time in the past. Cause Michael's only had eyes for Jan basically since we started watching, so there's got to be one hell of a backstory there! And I loved that Angela was totally screwing with Pam and going along with Jan on that one. Just made me love Angela all the more.

Okay, so Melora just owned this episode and I loved it. The end was super cute too with Pam and Jim in the car singing along to Hunter's CD and Angela dropping her cone on the side of Andy's car. I don't know why that made me laugh so hard but it did.

Probably a lot more to say, but that's what I've got for now.
