Oh yeah, Michigan gets BLASTED every year. I think the only time we never have snow is the summer months, but then its just crazy hot.

I need to get out and do something. I spent most of yesterday outside because it was beautiful and today's even better because it's not windy. I need to go for a run or do something else to take advantage of this uncharacteristically nice weather.

Anyone watch Taylor Swift on SNL last night? I thought she did great. Loved her Monologue Song (La La La).

I went out for a run for about an hour. Felt so good. I haven't run in the neighborhood for a while. I usually hit the trails when I take my mom to the doc everyday. Saw some of my old students, ran the bridges and along the waterfall and canal. Almost got attacked by a dog. But just one so i consider it a win.

Now I'm exhausted and in need of some food.

I used to hate running when we had to do it as punishment for sports but it's grown on me. I can't go run for 10 miles at a time. I don't have that kind of stamina. I generally run a bit, walk a bit. Since I almost always have my ipod, I'll run a whole song, walk one. Depends how I feel. Today I ran 2-3 songs at a time then walked. I'm in no way ready for a marathon but it does feel good. And that little butt-dent is back in my calves so that's a good reward.

I can motivate you. It may come out Jillian-esque though.
