I just keep using this time to start watching other shows I've never watched before. this summer I got into HIMYM and now Smallville. Cris, Nora's been talking about it on the James OT thread and that's usually how I get sucked into a show, by hearing others talk about it.

I got into HIMYM this summer too. I just finished S2 yesterday. Need to figure out a way to watch S3. What season are they going to be in this year?

I was downtown for the Rubber Ducky Race in the Chicago River today and one of the radio stations that broadcasts for it is one that my mom listens to every morning and that I've gotten into because I really like the people. So once the race was over, we went on a Melissa Foreman hunt to get a picture and I did. We started talking and I was telling her how my mom listens everyday and that's how I got to listen and then I asked if she'd talk to my mom if I called her. She said absolutely so I called her and told her I had someone that wanted to speak with her. They chatted for a few minutes and my mom loved it. She called me back like 20 minutes later and was just like, "How'd you do that?!" Haha. Then I called my brother to tell him I was at the top of mom's favorite kid list. He was like, I know, she already called to tell me. Too funny.

Nah, didn't even ask for one. She probably could have signed my Rubber Ducky Adoption Papers but that probably would have been the only option. I'm ok with just the picture and phone call to mom.

Karen, I've been watching Smallville here and there since it first aired. Only in S8, I've watched all the episodes, but it is a love-hate show for me. I ship Clark and Chloe (of course I couldn't get rid of the shipping-couples-that-will-never-happen syndrome) and the writers insist on ruining the possibilities for them. I've just read frustrating spoilers, so I'm not sure if I'll keep watching the show.
Same for Grey's Anatomy. Major disappointment
