Oh this is a great idea for a thread. Thank you for opening it!

I really enjoy watching all of the flashbacks at the beginning of each episode. It's nice to see a glimpse into Ned's past. Field Cate does a wonderful job playing him, as well.

The kid who plays little Ned is such a cutie and has really great reaction shots. I feel sorry for him because he has to deal with a lot of the sadness in Ned's life.

Oh I know. Field is handling it really well though. His reaction shots are wonderful considering how young he is.

I wonder what kind of flashback we'll get in this week's episode. Hopefully Digby is in the flashback, as well.

I look forward to seeing the flashbacks every week and learning more about Ned. Field's so great at playing Ned. He can be really cute and sympathetic. Sometimes I just want to give him a hug because everything he went through is so sad.

He is a great actor. Even though he doesn't have a speaking role (well, I think he's said maybe one word so far) his expressions are wonderful. He's so cute. I want to give him a hug too

Especially in the scene with the ghost costume when his dad gives him some candy but doesn't recognize him.

I love that it's mainly the narrator talking during the young Ned scenes. Field is so great at saying so much without saying anything at all.

Aw he has such a big smile. And has has dimples. hee. Young Ned doesn't smile that often so it's nice to see Field smiling in the pictures instead.

His first pie was so sweet and sad. He slept with the pie! I feel so much for him.
