So here's a question until then- do you guys prefer S1 or S2 Ned and Chuck? Mostly, I've heard that most people like S1 romance better even though some say S2 was more "realistic"

Mmm.... Well, season 1, everything was new, unknown... season 2 they'd been together longer, so things were different, of course...

yeah their story was so different and unique, I think that's why it attracted a lot of fans in S1.

Some were saying that there couldn't be a realistic future, but I was like screw realism, I'm not watching this show for angst. Give me some cute N/C moments

Right there with you I have my own life for realism! I loved the romance in S1 The angsty bits of S2 not so much

Exactly! I didnt mind the angst but I'm glad they didn't go overboard with it (Ned being too clingy, Chuck getting annoyed, Charles Charles, etc) or ever fully explore the triangle.

Just doesn't fit on this show, imo

Who cares about real life? Pushing Daisies has always been a world of wonder and magic and their story just breathes so much into that world, this impossible situation that they somehow make work

That's what I loved the most. They have a huge obstacle that could potentially kill her, but their love is so strong, nothing can get in their way .

i enjoy S1 Ned and Chuck more if only for the fact that i as an audience member noticed more cute nuances. them not touching and holding back was cute.
something i noticed in the second season is that all of that is somewhat "taken for granted"....we get less cute contraptions, less cute moments, and more just "this is the way life is."
not a fan, but that being said i love S2 too.

yeah their love story was definitely more of a focus in S1 and it was so new at the time...but that's how a series naturally progresses, I'm sure people would have tired of the same thing over and over but we did get some ridiculously cute scenes in S2 so I can't complain

I can't say which season I liked better but I'd probably lean towards S1

I definitely feel that we would have seen season 2 under a different light if we'd gotten the full 22 episodes there

SO TRUE...they had to rush things towards the end

Though S1 got gipped too b/c of the strike. I felt like there was so much more to tell between these two.
