I think that if they had done the traveling thing, they wouldn't have been able to have any more than 2 or 3 episodes of them being apart before the show would start going downhill.

yeah that wouldn't make much sense, but that's what I read. I would imagine that they would skip all those years they were apart and we would see a much older Ned and a still young Chuck?

Anyways I vote that there still needs to be a PD movie so we can see more N/C goodness now with the Aunts for an adorable dysfunctional family

I understand what she's saying. The article said that Chuck would go traveling and so they would be separated (it didn't say how long), and then it was like "but their love never dies", and that Chuck would go visit Ned at the hospital when he was old and she would offer him a last kiss. It didn't specify if they would meet again after her traveling or if it would just flash forward to the future.

When I read about that, I imagined her leaving for traveling and then the narrator telling us that she's gone for many years, and then that hospital scene and that be the end of the series.

That ending would have been too sad for me! To me, it seemed like they might have gone more with the triangle if the show went on.

I just realized I need to finish the S2 moments in the OP..

Ok for new title ideas, I was looking at the reasons in the OP and liked these...
