I finally watched the remaining episodes the other day. They were so good and our couple is so sweet together. I adore Ned for putting Chuck's happiness above his own.

I was just thinking that the other day. Why didn't he go back? The Narrator says he "thought of Chuck everyday".

Yeah and in "Girth" didn't the narrator mention something about how Ned made a yearly tradition every Halloween of going back to his old house and lying on the floor like he did in the episode? Then why wouldn't he just go across the street and see Chuck?

Maybe it's a discrepancy or maybe he was too scared to get too close to Chuck when she was alive b/c of his secret

I don't think he went back every year. I think the narration was saying that 20 years later he layed in the same spot he had when he was young
